31 Day Daily Devotional SERIES for the Garden of the Heart: DAY 22

  DAY22
 LET THERE BE LIGHT to IT IS DONE
And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying
to the seven angels,
Go your ways,
and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
 At that time shall Michael stand up,
the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.
Revelation 16:1/Daniel 12:1

And God said,
Let the waters bring forth abundantly
the moving creature that hath life,
and fowl that may fly above the earth
in the open firmament of heaven.
And God created great whales,
and every living creature that moveth,
which the waters brought forth abundantly,
after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying,
Be fruitful, and multiply,
and fill the waters in the seas,
and let fowl multiply in the earth.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Genesis 1:20-23
The birds and fish on day 5 to fill the earth as spiritual Babylon is compared to birds and it''s head wore the fish mitre hat

 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made:....And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
Exodus 25:31,39

The 5th plague blots out the light as the candlestick in the Inner Court is snuffed out on the Seat of the Beast who wears the fish mitre hat and whose institution is compared to birds
And the fifth angel poured out his
vial upon the seat of the beast
and his kingdom was full of darkness
and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
And blasphemed the God of heaven
because of their pains and their sores,
and repented not of their deeds.
Revelation 16:10,11

Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.....for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
Revelation 18:2/23

Fish Mitre Hat--tradition that started when the Chaldean priesthood fled to Pergamos and gave their title of their Pontifex Maximus --the High Priest who wore the Fish Mitre Hat -- to the Roman Emperor who passed it onto to the bishop of Rome, Damasus, in 378 A.D.
Interesting that Francis of Assisi--Patron Saint of Birds of which whose name Laudato Si' is written in so as to lure the merchants of the earth into her snare via an  alliance with Rome on environmentalism---just a thought to ponder

 DAILY REMINDER
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not LOVE, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,
and have not LOVE, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not LOVE, it profiteth me nothing.
LOVE suffereth long, and is kind;
LOVE envieth not;
LOVE vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
And now abideth faith, hope, LOVE, these three;
but the greatest of these is LOVE.
And from Jesus Christ, .... Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
1 Corinthians 13:1-5,13/Revelation 1:5

"Christ is the depository of all graces-He says: 'Buy of Me' "
The people of God are represented in the message to the Laodiceans as in a position of carnal security. They are at ease, believing themselves to be in an exalted condition of spiritual attainments. “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.”
 Buy gold tried in the fire that thou mayest be rich,
white raiment that thou mayest be clothed,
and eye-salve that thou mayest see.

Make some effort.

These precious treasures will not drop upon us without some exertions on our part.
---We must buy; "be zealous and repent" of our lukewarm state.
We must be awake to see our wrongs, and to search up our sins, and to zealously repent of them."
The plain message of rebuke to the Laodiceans is not received. Many cling to their doubts and their darling sins while they are in so great a deception as to talk and feel that they are in need of nothing."

Closing Thought for the Day
Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words of this prophecy,
and keep those things which are written therein:
for the time is at hand.

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks
The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:
and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest
are the seven churches.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
     Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
           I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him,
and will sup with him,
and he with me.
 Revelation 1:3,20/3:14-18,20
