Revelation is church history.

In Revelation there are some kingdoms dealt with, national powers, but they come in subordinate to the church history. In Daniel there is some church history; but it is subordinate to the great subject of national powers.

Creation Moment 3/30/2022 - What the Yellow Penguins tell us about the Creation

"Among 120,000 king penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus) on the sub-Antarctic South Georgia Island, one stood out—a yellow penguin never seen before. 

King penguins are known for their tuxedo look; white front with

black back, sides, head and feet, with traces of bright yellow around the neck. This unique yellow penguin lacks any of their normally distinctive black coloring. It features instead a stunning bright yellow neck and head, with creamy back and sides.

Biologists have speculated (prior to any possible genetic analysis) that it has a mutation which causes it to produce only a little of the pigment (melanin) that gives penguins their black colour. This condition is probably leucism. So its yellow pigment (spheniscin), unique to penguins, has come to the fore in this way. 

 

However, while this malfunction gives the penguin its striking appearance, melanin shortage comes with disadvantages, including less UV protection. Melanin gives structural strength to feathers, so these are likely weaker and will wear faster. Underwater from above, penguin’s dark backs normally blend in with the dark ocean, so the mutant will find it harder to avoid e.g. hungry leopard seals. Nonetheless, it could perhaps successfully survive and mate. It was observed swimming with and moving about freely amongst the other king penguins. 

 

But even then, it would not be ‘evolution in action’, which requires vast numbers of changes that gain information.

 

The ‘yellow’ change, like the vast majority of mutations, corrupts or loses information. So it points to a fallen world in which, following the entrance of sin and death, everything is subject to decay. This includes the genomes of living creatures, moving farther away from God’s ‘very good’ (Gen. 1:31) creation."

Epistle to the Hebrews Opens us to the Sanctuary Question

"After having a chemical analysis performed on swabs used to clean alleged blood from a local woman’s statue of St. Michael the Archangel, the Archdiocese of Denver has determined the red liquid was not blood.

Alicia Martinez, 57, of Broomfield, Colorado, a Denver suburb, said that her St. Michael statue began Feb. 23 to emit a dark liquid which appeared to be blood.

Then, on March 12, three officials from the archdiocese’s chancery “visited to perform a more thorough investigation.”  

“Upon arriving at the house and entering the room where the statue was reportedly located, the archdiocesan team was told that someone had taken the St. Michael statue. There were no apparent signs of forced entry to the property.” 

 

After conducting an interview with Martinez about the alleged bleeding from the statue, she provided the team with several cotton swabs that she said had been used to clean the dark liquid which appeared to resemble blood from the statue. 

The archdiocese said that “A chemical analysis was conducted of the dried liquid on the cotton swabs using the Kastle-Meyer method for presumptive positive blood samples. The test definitively showed that the red liquid obtained from the statue was neither human nor animal blood. The appearance of the substance on the cotton swabs was similar to red nail polish."

 

After posting a video of the supposedly bleeding statue on Facebook, Martinez, who works at a grocery store, received several comments that she was only seeking money or fame, which led her to remove the video. She expressed multiple times that this was not her intention in sharing the video, but that it was “something real that happened to them [her and her roommates]....This is not fraud. This is not to become famous. None of that. I know it’s something divine from God that doesn’t happen to everyone...."

This dude who runs Applebee's thinks this is an "advantage"  being able to CUT Wages for new employees he admits are LIVING "PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK."...he has apparently troubled "his own household" of Applebee's....just saying...

Creation Moment 3/26/2022 - Creation of the Sabbath

Jesus could make this authoritative statement because He made or created the Sabbath as the eternal sign and seal of God’s covenant with His people. The Sabbath was not for the Hebrew people only, but for all humanity.

 

Genesis indicates three things that Jesus did after He created the Sabbath day. 

First, He “rested” (Gen. 2:2), giving us a divine example of His desire to rest with us. 

Second, He “blessed” the seventh day (Gen. 2:3). 

In the Creation narrative, animals are blessed (Gen. 1:22), and Adam and Eve are blessed (Gen. 1:28), but the only day specifically blessed is the seventh day. 

Third, God “sanctified it” (Gen. 2:3) or “made it holy”.

The 7 Beatitudes of Revelation

"7 blessings mark the path toward a time when there will be no more
curse (Revelation 22:3). These blessings are sometimes called the seven beatitudes of Revelation.

Q: What are beatitudes?

Beatitude is a fancy way of saying blessed, based on the Latin word. The most well-known beatitudes are the ones Jesus spoke in the Sermon on the Mount, starting with, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 5:3.

The Greek word makarios, which is translated blessed, means -- blessed, possessing the favor of God, that state of being marked by fullness from God. It indicates the state of the believer in Christ.

 

 

The first beatitude, Revelation 1:3

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

The second beatitude, Revelation 14:13

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, ‘Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.
