The Scriptural evidence for the doctrine of the Godhead Trinity is summed up in the following nine propositions:
There is one God
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name
of the Father
and the Son
and the Holy Spirit.
And Jesus answered him,
The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
The Father is God
...which the Son of man shall give unto you:
for him hath God the Father sealed.
The Son is God
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
The Holy Spirit is God
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost
hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation:
The Three are separate from each other
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14
The Father is personal
As the Father hath loved me, ....
The Son is personal
I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me.
The Holy Ghost is personal
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
