Q: "... I want to know what is true about Matthew 28:19 which I found out that it doesn't exist in the oldest writings. That in the Hebrew Matthew, Jesus said "Go and make disciples in my Name" not "Go and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
A: "When they say it is not found in the oldest manuscripts they mean Sinaiticus and Vaticanus which are both very poor copies. In fact the ancient church fathers quote Matthew 28, numerous times..." YT
Stumbled across this Q & A online......this is in response to some, especially oneness Pentecostals as
well as Jehovah Witnesses, who claim that the part of "baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." isn't in the original. This answer blows away that theory.
BTW, the reason some try to claim it isn't in the original because they oppose the idea of the Father, Christ & Holy Spirit - rather they argue for "one" God.
Obviously the Godhead consist of three.....
