In this Context...are you of Joash (grisled horse) or Josiah (bay horse) of God's people?
The 4th chariot of Zechariah, pulled by 2 horses (bay & gisled) pulled in 2 different directions.
The grisled headed south, back into "Egypt" of the world.
The bay headed go to & fro through the earth, (think 3 Angel's Message to every nation, kindred, tongue & people)
.....and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
And the bay went forth,
and sought to go that they might walk to and fro
through the earth: and he said,
Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth.
So they walked to and fro through the earth.
Zechariah 6:6,7
*In this context--Jehoiada represents God, his son Zechariah & Joash us. We crucify His son anew with our sins. But as a people, do we rebel against His Word by going "south" with the grisled horses?
And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest,
which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God,
Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD,
that ye cannot prosper?
because ye have forsaken the LORD,
he hath also forsaken you.
And they conspired against him,
and stoned him with stones at the
commandment of the king in the court
of the house of the LORD.
Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness
which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son.
2 Chronicles 24:20-22
*Or are we like Josiah, leading true reform & revival of the "Words of the Law"? Taking it to all the world like the bay horses?
But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah,
wherein this passover was holden to the LORD in Jerusalem.
Moreover the workers with familiar spirits,
and the wizards, and the images, and the idols,
and all the abominations that were spied
in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem,
did Josiah put away,
that he might perform the words of the law
which were written in the book that
Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
And like unto him was there no king before him,
that turned to the LORD with all his heart,
and with all his soul, and with all his might,
according to all the law of Moses;
neither after him arose there any like him.
2 Kings 23:23-25
