Instead, we need to be reminded of what we read in Thessalonians: “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when youreceived the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers” (1 Thessalonians 2:13).
And we also need to remember that all of Scripture is God-breathed: "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
Because of the compromise in the church with man’s fallible ideas and the intense attacks on Christianity by secularists, I recognize that so many people don’t respect the Bible as the Word of God as they did in the past."
