 Exodus 13:10 reads literally in Hebrew that the Passover was to be celebrated ‘from days to days’. Obviously this means from year to year.

 I Samuel 20:6: The Hebrew literally reads ‘sacrifice of the days’ but the context clearly shows it refers to the yearly sacrifice.

 I Samuel 2:19 literally reads, ‘from days to days’

 I Samuel 1:21 literally reads, ‘sacrifice of the days’

 Judges 11:40 literally reads, ‘from days to days, four days each year’

 I Samuel 27:7 literally reads, "days and four months"

 I Kings 1:1 says that David was stricken ‘in days’ but it means ‘years’.

 Genesis 47:9 is an interesting verse in that Jacob speaks of ‘the days of my years’

 Genesis 5:5 states that the days that Adam lived were 930 years.

 Genesis 6:3 is the first time prophecy in the Bible where days are linked with years."

There is constant danger that professing Christians will come to think that in order to have influence with worldlings, they must to a certain extent conform to the world. But though such a course may appear to afford great advantages, it always ends in spiritual loss. Against every subtle influence that seeks entrance by means of

flattering inducements from the enemies of truth, God's people must strictly guard.
Close by the Israelites who had set themselves to the task of rebuilding the temple, dwelt the Samaritans, a mixed race that had sprung up through the intermarriage of heathen colonists from the provinces of Assyria with the remnant of the ten tribes which had been left in Samaria and Galilee. In later years the Samaritans claimed to worship the true God, but in heart and practice they were idolaters. It is true, they held that their idols were but to remind them of the living God, the Ruler of the universe; nevertheless the people were prone to reverence graven images.
The Samaritans refer to their worship of the true God, and express a desire to share the privileges and blessings connected with the temple service. We seek your God, as ye do, they declare. Let us build with you. Ezra 4:2.
But had the Jewish leaders accepted this offer of assistance, they would have opened a door for the entrance of idolatry.

Creation Moment 1/31/2018 - The Search for "heavy element factories"

"Why should we be concerned about where heavy elements—those with a proton number greater than 26—came from? The answer points to two opposing paradigms in the story of origins.

The first paradigm is based on random chance events in which nature somehow creates and sustains itself, and the second is based on an ex nihilo (out of nothing) creation that is consistent with the biblical narrative.

...........elements heavier than ⁵⁶Fe cannot be produced in stars like our sun because nuclear fusion reactions for elements above ⁵⁶Fe become endothermic—i.e., the surrounding medium must supply energy to the reaction for it to occur.

*In order for two ⁵⁶Fe nuclei to fuse, one of the nuclei must have an energy of at least 91 MeV (megaelectron volts) in order to overcome the coulomb barrier between them.
*For the nuclear reaction to occur at all, a mass/energy deficit of approximately 44 MeV must be supplied to the reaction (⁵⁶Fe + ⁵⁶Fe → ¹¹²Te) by the containing medium.
*Now, 91 MeV corresponds to a star temperature of approximately 1.06 × 10¹² °K (kelvin), and 44 MeV corresponds to a star temperature of approximately 5.1 × 10¹¹ °K.
*The hottest stars measured to date are the blue hypergiants such as Eta Carinae with temperatures in the neighborhood of 4 × 10⁴ °K, approximately seven orders of magnitude less than the energy required for such fusion reactions to occur.

The hottest known place in the universe occurs in the searing gas surrounding a swarm of galaxies in the constellation Virgo. This gas reaches an amazing 3 × 10⁸ °K, still three orders of magnitude too cold for nuclear fusion above ⁵⁶Fe. Clearly, it is not possible for the heavy elements to form in known stable stars and nebula. So, how do mainstream scientists explain the existence of heavy elements?

In searching for other possible “heavy element factories,” mainstream science first focused on exploding supernovas.
*Wikipedia claims that supernovas can expel material at velocities of up to 3 × 10⁷ m/sec, or about 10% the speed of light.
*A paper on this claim is cited in reference 7, but no direct evidence supporting it was found.
*The primary nuclei present in the supernova debris would be lighter elements such as hydrogen and helium. If the claimed velocity of the expanding material is based on either of these elements, then the temperature of the expanding supernova debris would be on the order of 2 × 10¹¹ °K. That is still not enough to fuel the fusion of two ⁵⁶Fe nuclei but is enough to question the apparent contradiction with the searing gas.
*It’s also interesting that the observation of supernova debris from SN1987A only revealed approximately 1.3% of the ⁵⁶Co expected to be present in the supernova ejecta. Perhaps this is evidence of why only ⁵⁶Fe and lighter elements are routinely observed in such debris.

.....science is still faced with the conundrum of where the heavy elements came from. The supernova

explosion model is shaky at best and really doesn’t appear to fit the observable data. In order to solve this puzzle, secular science turned to stepwise direct nuclear reactions.
 Since proton capture is unlikely due to the coulomb barrier (about 9 MeV), the most probable sequence for producing heavy elements would be consecutive neutron capture reactions followed by positron nuclear decay when the sequence reaches an unstable isotope. The models for this process are called the s-process and the r-process depending on whether the process proceeds slowly or rapidly.
Three obvious problems with these models are:

1. Sequential nuclear reactions on the same nucleus become increasingly improbable in a large aggregation of target particles.
2. As pointed out there is no way to observationally determine whether any heavy nuclei observed are primordial (i.e., original) or manufactured later.
3. Where do all the neutrons needed for these two methods come from?

Finally, how are any of the heavy nuclei produced by these hypothesized methods distributed around the universe?

It takes more faith to believe in the sensationalized views of the secular world than to accept the perfectly rational proposition that the universe was created by the hand of God out of nothing." Astrophysicists at the Université de Montréal studied 909 planets and 355 stars and discovered that, unlike our solar system, planets in other systems are similar in size with regular spacing between their orbits, “like peas in a pod,” lead researcher Lauren Weiss said in a statement.
 
In our solar system, Jupiter, the biggest planet, is 28.5 times larger in diameter than the smallest planet, Mercury, and the inner planets have surprisingly large spaces between their orbits. The researchers noted that the variations could suggest our solar system formed differently than others in the universe. God did not prevent Daniel's enemies from casting him into the lions' den; He permitted evil angels and wicked men thus far to accomplish their purpose; but it was that He might make the deliverance of His servant more marked, and the defeat of the enemies of truth...., Satan was to be defeated.

Strict compliance with the requirements of Heaven brings temporal as well as spiritual blessings.
As we near the close of this world's history, the prophecies recorded by Daniel demand our special attention, as they relate to the very time in which we are living. With them should be linked the teachings of the last book of the New Testament Scriptures.

This is also true of the little horn of Daniel 8. He is broken "without hand", an expression used in Daniel 2:34; 8:25; 11:45. The little horn/king of the north is destroyed by Christ at his coming. Obviously, this makes it impossible for Antiochus Epiphanes to be the little horn.

Pope Francis brought the WRONG GOSPEL to the Amazon.....he gave them the GREEN GOSPEL in place of the Biblical Gospel....

He also cited “certain policies aimed at the ‘conservation’ of nature” that he said

SDA Issues - Gospel according to Johnsson

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,

it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you]

 that ye should earnestly contend for the faith

which was once delivered unto the saints. 

For there are certain men crept in unawares,

 who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,

ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,

and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:3-4

“The common salvation” and “the faith once delivered to the saints” depict a singular gospel for every person and every circumstance.  It does not change with the times or the situation.  Similarly, the Three Angels’ Messages (Revelation 14:6-12), begin with “the everlasting gospel.”

Dr. William Johnsson, who formerly edited the Review for about 25 years, wrote The Fragmenting of Adventism, which he updated in his book Where Are We Headed?  Adventism after San Antonio,

published by the Pacific Union Conference in April 2017.   

Johnsson says that “two radically different versions of Adventism are competing for the future.”
The book infers that entire unions might leave the denomination if pushed to comply against their consciences regarding women’s ordination.

First, let’s consider the gospel according to Johnsson......he essentially reduces the gospel to “Christ died for our sins.”   
In contrast, the Bible says that if Christ were not raised, we would yet be in our sins (1 Corinthians 15:17).  So, obviously, salvation could not be completed at the cross. 

Johnsson does not emphasize the importance of Christ as our example, nor His living

ministry today to empower that example in the lives of believers, nor the fact that, without holiness, no one will see the Lord.  Hebrews 12:14.    
In contrast, the Bible marries the living ministry of Christ to His death on the cross.  Both aspects are essential to salvation, as are justification and sanctification.  

    Limiting saving righteousness to justification apart from regeneration and sanctification is a one legged gospel which has produced the Laodicean condition of false assurance as described in Revelation. 

Years ago, Johnsson’s wife Noelene, helped produce a curriculum called GraceLink for our young people, which has been likewise noted for divorcing salvation/grace from conversion/obedience. 

Just as a false gospel and toleration of immorality were bedfellows at the time Jude wrote his epistle, so they are bedfellows in the church today as exposed in the LGBT agenda ....   However, Johnsson makes no mention of this particular divide in the church.   He also does not mention how the hermeneutics of Dr. Sakae Kubo, which he praises, have led Kubo to publicly advocate the acceptance of gay marriage within the church.

Worse yet, the one-sided picture of grace that many Seventh-day Adventists accept today would qualify as a subtle form of spiritualism according to Ellen White.  She says that spiritualism, in its final disguise, would profess to accept Christ and the Bible, but would dwell on the love of God to the neglect of his holy law, his justice, and His judgment....Spiritualism is not only knocking at our doors.  It has already entered the church, bearing fruit in sanctioned immorality within its borders.   

Furthermore, when sexual immorality came into Israel on the borders of the promised land, Israel received the judgments of God in a plague.  While Moses was weeping and praying for the plague to be removed Zimri, a prince in Israel, strode into the camp with a prostitute on his arm.  The plague was not removed in response to the prayers of Moses until Phinehas executed judgment on the pair in Zimri’s tent.  Likewise, God expects proper church discipline within the church today to avert His coming judgments on our apostasy.

If God abhors one sin above another, of which His people are guilty, it is doing nothing in case of an emergency.   Indifference and neutrality in a religious crisis is regarded of God as a grievous crime and equal to the very worst type of hostility against God.  Testimonies to the Church, Vol . 3, p. 280 E.G.W.".
