How Near?

Only Two RULES OF FAITH

"Two rules of faith really embrace the whole Christian world. 

---One of these is the word of God alone; 

---the other is the word of God and the traditions of the church. 

Here they are:

I. THE RULE OF THE MAN OF GOD, THE BIBLE ALONE.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16,17

II. THE RULE OF THE ROMANIST, THE BIBLE AND TRADITION.

"If we would have the whole rule of Christian faith and practice, we must not be content with those scriptures which Timothy knew from his infancy, that is, with the Old Testament alone; nor yet with the New Testament, without taking along with it the traditions of the apostles and the interpretation of the church, to which the apostles delivered both the book and the true meaning of it."

"A class of third-graders in a California elementary school were forced to undergo a lesson on “social identities,” designed to

indoctrinate them on Critical Race Theory. The lesson required the children to classify their racial and sexual identities before “ranking” themselves based on their “power and privilege.”

After discovering that Critical Race Theory was being taught at R.I. Meyerholz Elementary School through “whistleblower documents and parents familiar with the session,” Rufo explained that a third-grade teacher at the school had asked his students to create “an ‘identity map,’ listing their race, class, gender, religion, family structure, and other characteristics.”

…The teacher, taking his cues from New York Times bestseller This Book Is Antiracist, continued with his Marxist reading of society, instructing the eight-year-old students that ...“folx” (touted as a more inclusive term for “folks”) “who do not benefit from their social identities, who are in the subordinate culture, have little to no privilege and power.”

 Awareness is drawn to “families” such as those with “two moms, two dads,” without making any distinction from “mom and dad” families, in an attempt to give the former categories a kind of credence or normality.

The students were expected to draft short essays, “at least one full page in writing,” in which they would assess their own “intersectionality,” including their sexual identity, and ordering themselves according to the principles of intersectionality. To help the students identify what rung of the intersectional hierarchy they fit into, the teacher’s presentation offered a “social identities” page, listing such identities as “transgenderism and non-binary sexuality.”

For any of the children who might have been confused by terms like “transgender” and “cisgender,” the teacher provided an “example identity sentence” to train them out of the habit of identifying gender “just by looking at” people. Psalm 34: Testimony & Teaching of the Redeemed

 Psalm 34: 

 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: 

I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

"The historical background of this acrostic psalm is related (in 1 Samuel 21:10-15). It bears

all the marks of the testimony on one who narrowly escaped death, just as the passage in Samuel describes. As such, it contains the praise and testimony of the one who was redeemed (verses 1-10), and the seasoned instruction that can stem from such deliverance (verses 11-22).

 

This psalm unfolds with a praise mode followed by teaching.

1- Personal Testimony (34:1-10);

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. vs.4

2- Personal Teaching (34:11-22).

Anti-Curfew Unrest Grips Netherlands....

"Anti-curfew riots in the Netherlands have continued for several evenings, with violence incited in various cities via social media networks.

 The protests started as a demonstration against a new curfew, from 9 p.m.-4.30 a.m. local time, which was introduced last Saturday to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The protests have quickly turned violent. In various cities — including The Hague, Tilburg, Enschede, Venlo, Roermond, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and 's-Hertogenbosch — rioters clashed with the police, who used horses, dogs, water cannon and tear gas to control the situation. Protesters have thrown fireworks, looted supermarkets and destroyed shop windows. 

In Enschede, a hospital was attacked by rioters on Tuesday night, with attempts made to smash windows, and in Tilburg, a clothing store was destroyed by a firework bomb. Previously, in Urk — a small fishing town — young rioters set a government COVID-19 testing facility on fire.

years from Earth in the constellation Eridanus. It is the first known example of six stars making up a trio of eclipsing binaries, known as A, B and C.
