On 11/4/2007, Sean Hannity on FOX News interviewed Catholic priest Edward L. Beck about Revelation 13 and the mark-of-the-beast. Edward Beck said "If you take the Latin name that refers to all popes, vicarious Filii Dei, which means vicar of the Son of God, if you take the roman numerals out of these, guess what they add up to? 666."
Well, the Catholic priest is correct. Now some will argue that you can get "666" by adding up various names using their Roman numeral value. But the point is, only Papal Rome (no offence to our Catholic friends, but we must go with Scripture) meets all the other criteria of the Little Horn/ Beast of Daniel/Revelation.
Here is wisdom.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:
for it is the number of a man;
