The Euphrates dried up
History tells us that the Persian forces of Cyrus "dried" up the Euphrates River that ran through two river gates of Babylon, then found these gates opened and entered the city
That saith to the deep,
Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
...to open before him the two leaved gates;
and the gates shall not be shut;

A drought is upon her waters;
and they shall be dried up :

Babylon makes drunk with Golden Cup
Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand,
that made all the earth drunken :
the nations have drunken of her wine;
therefore the nations are mad .

Babylon is Fallen
Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed :
