The cliché "AIDS affects all-of-us", used by even "Christians" is getting really old.
AIDS does NOT affect all-of-us because:
1) NOT all-of-us engage in homosexual activity
2) NOT all-of-us engage in promiscuous straight activity
3) NOT all-of-us use illegal IV drugs
4) NOT all-of-us will receive a blood transfusion over the course of our life & run the risk of accidentally being infected
Bottom Line: Not all-of-us use illegal drugs or have sexual relations outside the bounds of marriage, so with the exception of possible blood transfusions, NOT all-of-us are at risk for getting AIDS.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish,
disobedient, deceived,
serving divers lusts and pleasures,
Titus 3:3
The Lord ...is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
