Besides the French Revolution in Revelation, France has other roles in Biblical History.
This event in 508 AD was the beginning of the 1290 day (year) prophecy of Daniel 12 that would culminate in 1798 along with the ending of the 1260 day (year) prophecy.
Clovis was the "arms" (military might) that established this Church system politically in western Europe that cast the Sanctuary down here to the earth.
2) France, interestingly, is the power that not only first propped up Papal Rome, but also delivered the deadly wound to this beast power in 1798 AD when General Berthier, under orders of Napoleon, took the pontiff prisoner. Leading up to this event, the temporal powers of the Papacy began to erode in the 1770's beginning in Austria and then from there across Europe. 1) France was to become the first official Catholic nation in the post western Roman empire. In 508 AD, when Clovis was baptized he accepted from the Church the breviary of Alaric. This made Catholicism the official & only allowed religion in the Frankish realm. This event in 508 AD was the beginning of the 1290 day (year) prophecy of Daniel 12 that would culminate in 1798 along with the ending of the 1260 day (year) prophecy.
