VIOLENCE: Allow me to introduce another theory to man's theories

"There are two prevailing theories about the early history of interpersonal violence:
One claims violence erupted as humans transitioned from hunter-
gathering to settled communities;
the other claims violence was rampant in early communities before the transition to farming led to cooperation and greater peace, per Scientific American.
Yet "a more nuanced picture is emerging," according to an ambitious new study of the remains of 3,539 people who died in what is now Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan up to 400 B.C., per Newsweek. European researchers, who sought to learn about violence among humans at a time when written records are largely absent, came up with findings that don't neatly match either of the two narratives.
"Crowding and rising inequality may have triggered conflicts following appropriation of other groups' resources," reads the study published Monday in Nature Human Behavior, per Cosmos Magazine. "

Here's Another "Theory":
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.....The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked....

Armenia/Turkey Then (1897) -- Ukraine/Russia Today (2022) [E.J. Waggoner]

BELOW was penned in 1897 by E.J. Waggoner on the Ottoman Turkish Genocide of the Armenians.
Q: Is anything written below in 1897 relevant in 2022?
A: We'll let YOU decide as God gives YOU Free Will. Of course God decides whether what YOU decide is right or wrong.

Crucifixion of Armenian Christian Girls by Ottoman Turks to Mock their Religion in Death

"...the attention of the whole civilized world has been directed to the events taking place in Turkey. The Armenian massacres have been
discussed in doubtless every pulpit in Christendom, and the papers, both secular and religious, have overflowed with accounts, comments, and suggestions. Indeed, one expects to see in his daily paper a column devoted to the situation in Turkey or to the relation of the Powers to it, just as regularly as to the state of the market.

While we do not repeat the reports of these massacres, we shall, for the purpose of our present study, assume that they are all true, both as to the numbers of Armenians slain, and as to the cruelties perpetrated. It might be well, however, to remember that in these reports we have the testimony from only one side,—that of the
Ukrainian Mother, Father & 2 Children Gunned Down by Russians

Armenians and those who are prejudiced against the Turks,—yet we will not now stop to question their truthfulness; let each one think that the outrages are as fearful as his imagination has pictured them.

The taking of human life under any circumstances is an awful thing. To read of men being shot and stabbed, of human bodies mangled and bleeding in the streets, or kicked to one side as though they were dogs, is horrible; yet no description can equal the reality. So we say that people do well to shudder as they read of wholesale slaughter.

Ukrainian Soldiers Shooting Russian POW's Legs

But fearful as the massacres in Turkey may have been, there is something to which we do not see anybody’s attention specially called, which is still more shocking, so much more shocking that there can be no comparison. What is that thing?—it is the almost universal cry for vengeance, the demand for war,—for more killing,—that has issued and is still issuing from the lips and pens of professed followers and ministers of Christ. We do not wish to call attention to any individual, but only to the thing, and therefore we shall not give the names of those whose utterances.

One speaker said that “if necessary, England must stand alone in order to bring to an end this chapter of Eastern misrule.” This, as another truly said, would doubtless “provoke a European war,” yet even this the reverend gentlemen assembled were ready to accept, for still another said, “With Russia or without her, with the Concert of Europe or without it, we can, we must, we will, deliver the Armenians.” Remember now that to “deliver the Armenians” means war.

Jesus said, in the Sermon on the Mount:
Matthew 5
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
That is all that is in the Sermon on the Mount that is especially applicable to this question.

---The killing of a few thousands of people by men who do not
profess to be Christians, is horrible enough;
---but more horribly wicked still is it when professors and ministers of the Gospel everywhere fill the minds of the people with the idea that war and vengeance are in harmony with and manifestations of the fundamental principles of Christianity.
---Such teaching only serves to nourish and glorify the natural fierceness which the Bible says will be characteristic of the last days; and with the people become fully imbued with it, there will be needed only a spark to set the whole world ablaze." E.J. Waggoner

"Footage posted to Twitter shows what appears to be Ukrainian
soldiers calling up the mothers of dead Russian soldiers killed in action and mocking them over their loss
.
Yes, really.
The Ukrainian appeared to be using the phone that belonged to the dead Russian to call his mother.
An alleged neo-nazi Azov Battalion member named Ivan Zaliznyak uploaded the video and five others to his Telegram channel." SummitNews

"Russian forces are killing civilians and looting stores and homes
across occupied parts of southern Ukraine
,
residents said, as Moscow arrested elected local leaders and sought to replace them with pro-Russian collaborators." WSJ

IN the NEWS - Prince of Persia Riling Kazakhstan

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia [Lucifer]... Daniel 10:20 "From the days of Adam to our own time, our great enemy has been exercising his power to oppress and destroy." E.G.W.

Prince of Persia is Stoking Bloodshed in central Asia.
The cause appears to be driven by sky rocketing energy costs.
This would be due to two things (which we blogged about on here recently) that the Prince of Persia has Influence over:
1) Incompetent Politicians
2) Radical Policies by Politicians
Q: Is this the tip of the iceberg of more to come globally OR isolated to this region and will simply run it's course?
Q: Or will this feed into a wider conflict? Already Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are apparently being drug into it.

"A wave of deadly riots swept across Kazakhstan earlier this week,
following a sharp rise in gas prices. Despite the government's attempts to quell the crowds and now-fulfilled promises to decrease prices, peaceful protests turned into violent clashes with law enforcement officers, as well as looting, arson and acts of terrorism across the country.

Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022. Kazakhstan's president authorized security forces on Friday to shoot to kill those participating in unrest, opening the door for a dramatic escalation in a crackdown on anti-government protests that have turned violent.

Kazakhstan is currently under a state of emergency until 19 January
as counter-terrorism operations continue across the country.
Over 5,000 people have been detained throughout Kazakhstan in relation to the unrest, which saw mass looting, arson, the killing of law enforcement officers, and at least one confirmed beheading of a police officer. The preliminary damage amounts to over $200 million.

Fides: "Until last year - he notes - fuel in Kazakhstan cost 40 cents a liter, an unthinkable price in Italy. Today those prices have been doubled and, at the same time, inflation has reached very high peaks. All this has led the middle class to protest violently: it is these citizens who feel most affected, given that the poor do not own cars. People do not understand why a country that 'floats' on gas and oil must pay so much for oil and gas".

Russian peacekeeping troops, part of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) mission to protest-hit Kazakhstan, began emergency prevention exercises at an airfield near Almaty on Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said. "Russia's CSTO peacekeeping units are conducting exercises at the Almaty airfield to train emergency prevention," a statement read.

Currency exchange services in Kazakhstan's banks have been suspended for security purposes, the country's national bank said Sunday, following several days of protests that started over increased fuel prices and quickly descended into violence.
The suspension is meant to ensure "security and safety of the services themselves as well as staff and clients," according to the bank's statement. The banking system will be restored in stages due to unstable internet and ongoing counterterrorist operation in the city of Almaty, the bank said.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov said on Sunday that he could not rule out the possibility that some Kyrgyz citizens may have taken part in protests in Kazakhstan over the past week.

The Organization of Turkic States is ready to offer Kazakhstan any help it needs to overcome the security crisis in the wake of fuel protests, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Sunday. The organization is made up of five Turkic-speaking states, namely Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan." Sputnik

Papal Notes - Muslims & Jews turn to Francis

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Revelation 13:3

"Turkey's president Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan phoned Pope Francis Monday morning, inciting the pontiff to punish Israel for its "attacks against Palestine" by "mobilizing the Christian world and the
international community
.
"
Pope Francis met Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in the Vatican's Apostolic Palace soon after the phone call with ErdoÄŸan.
The duo discussed Palestine, interfaith dialogue and U.S. sanctions during a "wonderful audience," Zarif disclosed on Twitter.

Refusing to call "Jerusalem" by its ancient Biblical and historical name, the Turkish president referred to the City by its Islamic nomenclature — Al-Quds — in his phone call with  pope.
Francis will not take sides on the issue, it is understood, even though he is ideologically inclined to support Muslims and naïve about the existential threat Hamas posed to Israel, as well the problem of anti-Semitism in Islamic texts.

Francis' long-standing friendship with Argentinian Rabbi Abraham Skorka since the days when he was Cdl. Jorge Bergoglio and with whom the pope co-authored the book On Heaven and Earth: Pope Francis on Faith, Family, and the Church in the Twenty-First Century, is one reason cited for the pope's apparent neutrality." IN the NEWS - Prince of Persia seeks Pressure Points for Global War

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass... Luke 21:9

"Renewed hostilities have been raging between Armenian and
Azerbaijani forces around the contested territory of Nagorno-Karabakh in the southern Caucasus.
Sunday evening kick-started a clash between Armenia and Azerbaijan that quickly transitioned into a full-blown war between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In scale and scope, the fighting that broke out on Sunday surpasses the periodic escalations of recent years, involving heavy artillery, tanks, missiles and drones.
So far there are more than 100 confirmed deaths among civilians and Armenian combatants killed in action. Azerbaijan does not release
data on its military losses, but these can be assumed to be at least as high.

The fighting appears to be driven by an attempt by Azerbaijani forces to recapture swathes of territories occupied by Armenian forces in the Karabakh war after the Soviet Union collapsed.

The Azerbaijani advance started on in the morning of September 27 and as of September 28, the Azerbaijani military said that it had captured seven villages and several key heights in the Fuzuli and

Jabrayil areas. The military also announced that Azerbaijan captured the Murov height of the Murovdag mountain range and established fire control of the Vardenis-Aghdar road connecting Karabakh with Armenia. The Ministry of Defense said that this will prevent the transportation of additional troops and equipment from Armenia along the route in the direction of the Kelbajar and Aghdar regions in Karabakh.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry also claimed that over 550 Armenian soldiers were killed and dozens pieces of Armenian military equipment, including at least 15 Osa air defense systems, 22 battle tanks and 8 artillery guns, were destroyed. All statements from the Armenian side about the casualties among Azerbaijani forces were denounced as fake news.

Since the fighting started on Sunday, Turkey has declared its unconditional support to Azerbaijan, and appears to be lending Azerbaijani various kinds of military capability. There is little doubt that highly regarded Turkish military drone technology is being deployed.
...Turkey has mobilized mercenaries from Syria to fight for Azerbaijan.

For as long as combat is contained to contested territory in and around Nagorno-Karabakh, the optics of preserving Russian neutrality make Moscow's overt involvement unlikely. However, a longer conflict with increasing Turkish participation would threaten Russia's dominance in an area it considers part of its sphere of privileged interests, and invite a response."
