Creation Moment 1/31/2026 - Apostle Paul and Creation Evangelism
"We jump to the book of Acts and consider Paul’s missionary journeys, sermons, and epistles, we see that he met a great number of people and surely encountered a great number of beliefs.
Taking a closer look at Scripture, consider:
Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also conversed with him. And some said, “What does this babbler wish to say?”

In the greater context, we find Paul forced into a debate with Epicureans and Stoics. Because they disagreed with Paul, they take him to Mars Hill (the Areopagus) to espouse and defend his views in front of the whole assembly of philosophers.

In the greater context, we find Paul forced into a debate with Epicureans and Stoics. Because they disagreed with Paul, they take him to Mars Hill (the Areopagus) to espouse and defend his views in front of the whole assembly of philosophers.
Acts 17:21 tells us that “the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new.” So Paul realized that this was a unique opportunity to present the gospel and masterfully began his defense, which has gone on to become the basis for creation evangelism.
The Epicureans were the evolutionists of the day. They typically held a belief derived from Epicurus that there were no gods that intervened in the world. They did not believe in the typical Greek “gods” but viewed them as merely popular and hyperbolized fictional accounts in scrolls and books of ancient heroes. They viewed a god or gods as being material idols simply made from matter.
The Epicureans further believed in at least long ages of history, if not an eternal past, and that atoms, the basic component of all matter, gave rise to life. Then that life gave rise to higher life such as mankind. But no God or gods were involved.

"The Walk for Peace, a procession of Buddhist monks making their way from Texas to Washington, D.C., arrived in Wake County on Friday. They arrived to Raleigh early Saturday morning.
After leaving the State Capitol, the monks are to spend the night in Raleigh before leaving toward Louisburg, North Carolina early Sunday morning. Their night stop location will not be disclosed.
Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara, who is usually the main speaker at these events, begins speaking. At one point, he said, "Look around now. We have different backgrounds, different faiths and beliefs, different skin colors, different languages. But we are able to come here together in this weather in front of this Capitol, just to support the mission of peace. It means there's no difference between all of us."
Governor Josh Stein addresses the crowd and the monks. He said, "You've had a crowd following everywhere you've gone and a much larger crowd following you online. That is because you are bringing people hope."
Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell speaks to the crowd. She said, "As a person of faith who has become a little bit familiar with the teachings of the Buddhist tradition, I realize that all beings—human and otherwise—are integrally connected with each other in ways we can hardly imagine."
The monks left their lunch stop and walked toward the State Capitol. Thousands gathered to watch and walk behind them in this monumental walk for peace.

People have said that the bitterly cold temperatures will not stop them from seeing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
By the time they make their way to Raleigh, the monks — some of whom walk in bare feet by choice — could face another challenge. WRAL Severe Weather Center is tracking a system expected to bring freezing rain and ice to the Triangle.
The Walk for Peace will proceed regardless of the weather, a representative told WRAL News.
The “Walk For Peace” Facebook page states the proper way to greet the monks is by placing your palms together and bowing to them. Monks may bow in return, though they may avert their eyes as a sign of respect.

ARCHAEOLOGY: 18,000 Dinosaur Tracks in Bolivia

"A new discovery of 18,000 individual dinosaur tracks in the Bolivian El Molino Formation contains the highest number of theropod dinosaur tracks in the world. The tracks were spread over nine sites in an area encompassing nearly 1.5 football fields. Remarkably, the site also contains the highest number of dinosaur swim tracks ever reported.
Publishing in PLoS One, the joint science team from the United States and Bolivia wrote,

They are commonly found in marine environments but also live in freshwater. The scientists also found fish teeth and shell fragments of bivalves in the same layer. Collectively, these features—the rippled limestone, ooids, and ostracods—are a dead ringer for a shallow ocean deposit.
At another site in the same rock layer, north of Torotoro, the
paleontologists reported finding “a variety of invertebrates, plants, and vertebrates, including dinosaurs, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and terrestrial and marine ichthyofauna.” This mixture of terrestrial (dinosaurs) and marine fauna in the El Molino Formation continues to baffle conventional science. No wonder the uniformitarian paleontology team wrote, “No single paleoenvironmental interpretation explains the entire El Molino Formation [the unit that contains the trackways].”
Q: But why would dinosaurs and birds be “running, sauntering and even swimming” across a soft, fresh limestone bed that was likely flooded by a few feet of ocean water? And why so many in the same directions?
The global Flood provides the best answer to all of these questions.
The dinosaurs that made these tracks were doing their best to stay above the rising water and were likely heading toward a remnant of higher ground. That may be why so many of the tracks are heading in similar directions. To do so, they had to wade in shallow water on top of a fresh limey substrate, maybe in between tsunami waves. This respite was just long enough to leave their tracks. Then, as the next wave hit, creating the rippled surface and deepening the water, the dinosaurs were forced to swim. But they still kept heading in the same direction, toward what little high ground may have remained.
This explains the order of trackways, starting with walking, the sinking into the soft lime (creating tail marks), and then the outright swimming. It was for survival. But eventually, the floodwaters overcame all of these creatures, washing them away and entombing many of them elsewhere in other rock layers.
Deliberately ignoring the global Flood that occurred about 4,500 years ago leads to great confusion and fictional stories. Believing in the truth of God’s Word resolves many apparent mysteries and leads to clarity."

Meanwhile, micro-reservoirs such as soil moisture interact with vegetation to create stable microclimates. Beyond their role in climate regulation, forests also protect underlying soil moisture while generating atmospheric moisture and supporting rich biodiversity.

7 Seals of REVELATION SERIES: Seventh Seal

The silence in heaven must bear some relationship to the question in the last part of the sixth seal.
The second part of the sixth seal is the avenging portion of the fifth seal. Now God will turn the tables on those who oppressed, persecuted and killed His people. As Jesus descends from heaven the living saints along with those who died in the faith of the third angel’s message ask the question, ‘who shall be able to stand?’ Following the question there is a period of awful silence in heaven.
The question at the end of the sixth seal is followed by silence in heaven in the seventh.

7 Seals of REVELATION SERIES: 144,000 Interlude
The account given to the apostle concerning that noble army of martyrs who stood before the throne of God in white robes, with palms of victory in their hands.
Revelation has four portraits of the 144,000 each with its own emphasis:
Revelation 7:1-8: Emphasis falls on the sealing of the 144,000 for
their protection during the time of trouble and at the second coming followed by the jubilatory singing after victory has been gained. (Revelation 7:9 17).

Revelation 15:2-4: Emphasis on the victory of the 144,000 over the beast, his image and his mark.
Revelation 19:1-8: Emphasis on the jubilatory singing of the 144,000 because the harlot has been judged and God’s people have been avenged.
***The 144,000 sealed ones from the twelve tribes of Israel are not literal Jews.

A: The fact that God warns all nations, kindreds, tongues and peoples about the seal of God and the mark of the beast clearly indicates that it is possible for people from every nation, kindred, tongue and people to receive the seal of God or the mark of the beast. Second, if there will only be 144,000 faithful living saints when Jesus comes (not one more and not one less!) then we would have to conclude that God pre determined, pre-chose or hand-picked them. It is very unlikely that exactly 144,000 would exercise their freedom of choice to be among the living righteous when Jesus comes.
***The 144,000 who in the chapter before us are said to be sealed with the seal of God in their foreheads, are again brought to view in Revelation 14:1, where they are said to have the Father's name written in their foreheads.

A: From the foregoing reasoning, facts, and declarations of Scripture, two conclusions inevitably follow:

We have, then, but to examine these commandments to see which one it is that constitutes the seal of the law, or in other words, makes known the true God, the lawmaking power.
The first three commandments mention the word "God," but we cannot tell from these who is meant, for there are multitudes of objects to which this name is applied.
We pass over the fourth commandment for the time being.
The fifth contains the words "Lord" and "God," but does not define them, and the remaining five precepts do not contain the name of God at all.
With that part of the law which we have examined, it would be impossible to convict the grossest idolater of sin. The worshiper of images could say, This idol before me is my god, and I worship him according to this law.
Thus without the fourth commandment the decalogue is null and void, as far as it pertains to the definition of the worship of the true God.
But let us now add the fourth commandment. As we examine this commandment, which contains the declaration, "For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is," we see at once that we are reading the requirements of Him who created all things.

Thus the fourth commandment in its place, this wonderful document, the decalogue, the only document among men which God ever wrote with His own finger, has a signature, it has that which renders it intelligible and authentic, it has a seal.
But without the fourth commandment, the law is incomplete and unauthoritative.
From the foregoing logic it is evident that the fourth commandment constitutes the seal of the law of God, or the seal of God.
