SDA Issues - NAD in Knott(s) / Amos Case Study

After the NAD (North American Division) lost their push for women ordination at the San Antonio meeting, they are now hitting back hard in their rebellion. For example, the Florida Conference President recently basically banned Doug Batchelor from the Florida churches.
Now, the Adventist Review editor, Bill Knott, published the following aimed at those who hold to Biblical positions of the Church (remember, Bill Knott & NAD leadership were on the wrong side of Scripture--and lost the vote)...

"So here’s a call to shut our ears, protect our pulpits, change the channel, and withhold our dollars from those of whatever ideological camp who practice the uncivil and unrighteous behaviors we witnessed before San Antonio. Yes, move them to the margins; draw the boundaries of our community in such a way that only repentance and changed behavior will again allow them full inclusion." AdventistReview/BillKnott

Bill Knott & the rebels in the "progressive" movement are now setting themselves up as the doorkeepers.... But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Question for Mr. Knott---where was he when the Ohio conference invited to speak Leonard Sweet of the Emergent Church (modern gnosticism)?
Where was Mr. Knott when La Sierra was teaching macro-evolution?
Where was Mr. Knott when churches on the west coast a few years ago opened their doors proudly to the HERETIC Desmond Ford?
Did he write a piece calling for shutting our ears to them?...NO!!!

***as a sidenote, I ordered a book by Mr. Knott a few years ago. I was so stunned by what I read, I literally threw it in the trash the same day. I lost all respect for his views after I read his tome...

Did you notice what the church leaders told those preaching present truth...?
Is history repeating itself? What followed????
