Using David as a type for Christ, & Saul, who committed the unpardonable sin, as a type for Lucifer- read the following verses.....
...and David played with his hand, as at other times:
and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.
1 Samuel 18:10
The picture here is of Christ with a harp or musical instrument
& His nemesis Lucifer with an instrument of war....
And Saul cast the javelin; for he said,
I will smite David even to the wall with it.
And David avoided out of his presence twice.
1 Samuel 18:11
Lucifer tried to "nail" Christ to the cross - but failed in permanently taking His life.
As for the avoidance by David (Christ) twice---think about it-
1) Christ avoided Lucifer's attempt during the slaughter of the innocents
2) Christ, though crucified, rose from the dead, avoiding permanent death
And wasn't Lucifer jealous of Michael (Christ) in heaven?
And wasn't Lucifer jealous of Michael (Christ) in heaven?
And the women answered one another as they played,
and said, Saul hath slain his thousands,
and David his ten thousands.
And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him;
and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands,
and to me they have ascribed but thousands:
1 Samuel 18:7,8
