There are 2 men who I highly recommend for listening to if one wants to dig deep into the Word of GOD. One is an SDA and one a non-SDA.
First, for defending the Word through apologetics (a philosophical defense) I highly recommend Ravi Zacharias. He is good at:
1) Defending Christianity against atheism
2) Defending Christianity as opposed to other non-Christian religions (especially Hinduism, Buddhism, & New Ageism).
3) Defending the reliability of Scripture.
Second, and more importantly, SDA pastor Doug Batchelor, for:
1) Defending the SDA Biblical doctrinal positions over counter positions.
2) Making an articulate case for the uniqueness of the SDA Church.
3) Presenting the Word in the tone-of-love.
