Then were there two thieves crucified with him,

There were 3 crosses at the crucifixion. 2 for the thieves and one for Barabbas. We are Barabbas-as Christ took our (Barabbas) place on the cross.
And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection. But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
