Q: Why are we judged by our "Works" if we are saved by Grace?
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:12
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:14
A: Our "works" reflect what is in the heart. We do the "works" for the right reasons. Because we want to obey. But the "works" can't save us. They can only "judge" us--a mirror that shows whether we are phonies or not. The actual "saving" takes place by being covered by His robe of Righteousness. Grace.....
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments.
And his commandments are not burdensome.
