On the Streets of Babylon: Vampires spotted in the Pulpits

Babylon is fallen, is fallen,..
Come out of her, My people,
Revelation 14:8/18:4

There seems "Vampires" were spotted in the Pulpits on the Streets of Babylon....

"A Catholic priest in Germany is facing criticism for leading a
Halloween-themed prayer service on
Halloween while dressed as Dracula, complete with a half-open coffin and a fog machine.
Father Michael Korell, the vicar of the parish, held the service for around 50 people inside the funeral chapel of St. George’s Cemetery. The event included prayers and hymns.
He told the French newspaper the Tribune Chrétienne that his goal was to “reach out to those who no longer have a connection with the Church” and that “I wanted to make it clear that we don’t have to be afraid of death.
He later clarified that no Mass took place and that he wore his clerical clothing underneath the
Dracula cape."

Halloween: one of the four Great Sabbats of the Witches

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8

"When we examine the history of
Halloween, one thing we find out very quickly is that it is based on the ancient pagan religion of the Celtics in Northern Ireland and their celebration of the festival of the dead, known as Samhain.

According to Ronald Hutton in The Stations of the Sun: A History of the Ritual Year in Britain, ‘Samhain’ referred to Celtic Halloween customs all the way up until the 19th century.

Halloween, as we know it today, is a modernized version of the Druidic festival of the dead. The powerful Druid priests were
deemed kings of the occult practitioners, and were known for worshipping evil spirits and sacrificing humans to their demon gods!

The Celts celebrated the day of death in anticipation of the dark, cold winter months. The eve of Samhain marked the special time of the year when the Druids taught that demons, souls and gods were unleashed on the world to bring blessing or wreak havoc and destruction on unsuspecting souls.

In ancient Britain and Ireland, the Celtic festival of Samhain was observed on October 31 at the end of the summer … The souls of the dead were supposed to revisit their homes on this day and the autumnal festival acquired sinister significance, with ghosts, witches, goblins, black cats, fairies and demons of all kinds said to be roaming about. It was the time to placate the supernatural powers controlling the processes of nature. In addition, Halloween was thought to be the most favorable time for divinations concerning marriage, luck, health, and death. It was the only day on which the help of the devil was invoked for such purposes.” (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2005, "Halloween").

Witch and Wiccan high priestess,
Doreen Valiente, who authored "The Witches’ Rune"....Valiente helped formulate modern Wicca
(known as Gardnerian Wicca) after it was first created by Satanist Gerald Gardner, who was also a disciple of Satanist Aleister Crowley and a member of Crowley’s satanic organization known as the O.T.O. Unknown to most Wiccan’s, Gardner subsumed many of Crowley’s satanic teachings on ceremonial "magick" into Wicca and used a variation of Crowley’s satanic maxim “Do What Thou Wilt” for the wiccan Rede.

Wiccan high priestess, Valiente, said of Halloween:
Halloween is one of the four Great Sabbats of the witches that everyone has heard about. To witches, Halloween is a serious occasion, however merrily celebrated. It is the old Celtic Eve of Samhain.”

This Halloween: Remember what God says about Witchcraft

Q: What does God think of Witchcraft?
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft
,....Now the works of the
flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, WITCHCRAFT, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD
1 Samuel 15:23/Galatians 5:19-21

This Halloween: What does God say about werewolves?

Q: What does God say about werewolves?
A:  So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. Genesis 1:27
Only mankind in 2 genders. NOTHING about any interchangeable creatures from human to animal and back.....In fact God gave mankind DOMINION over the animals, hence man is not part of---nor part---animal
. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28

"A werewolf is a man that has been cursed or charmed into a beast that hunts at night and craves human flesh. The word ‘werewolf
literally translates to
man-wolf (‘were’ meaning man).
Many legends claim that a man would transform into a
werewolf if he was bitten or scratched by another werewolf in its animal form.
There are also tales of magic salves that could transform a person. Other sources tell of enchanted streams that gave people the ability to transform. Other transformation rituals include drinking rainwater out of the footprint of a wolf and sleeping with the light of a full moon on one’s face during a Wednesday or Friday summer night.
Many areas where Christianity was the dominant religion tell of
werewolf transformations through an alliance with the Devil.
Many historians believe this was a way to explain the violent and cannibalistic impulses of predatory serial killers in the Middle Ages.
One of the easiest ways to identify a suspected
werewolf was to try to injure the werewolf with a mark that would be easily identifiable. It was believed that when a werewolf was injured in animal form, the same injury would manifest itself in the being’s human form." Mythology.net

This Halloween: What does God say about Vampires?

Q: What does God say about Vampires?
A: there are NONE

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished
Ecclesiastes 9:5 / Revelation 20:5

"In folklore, a vampire is a malign spirit — usually believed to be a restless soul. The restless undead — that refuses to join the ranks of the dead but instead leaves its burial place — in its original body or
taking possession of another's corpse — and becomes a bloodsucking creature in order to continue enjoying the pleasures of the living. Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Romans, and even the Greeks — all had some version of a mythical vampire. But these Halloween monsters were greatly influenced by a particular novel.
In the English language, the word “vampire” has existed since 1734, but it wasn’t until Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, Dracula that the archetypal sophisticated vampire was established.
During the vampire panic in New England, vampires were finding a new role in European books like The Vampyre (1819), Carmilla (1871-72), and Dracula (1897), as well as in vampire-themed plays.....there was a strange resurgence in the late 1960s, when Seán Manchester, the president of the British Occult Society, said that a vampire was causing people to see strange things in London’s Highgate Cemetery."

Days of the Dead and "Ghosts" vs. God

"Although many affirm that Samhain was the origin of modern-day Halloween, it is significant to note how many cultures throughout the world have celebrated a “day of the dead” (often with sacrifices), occurring at the end of summer and fall. There seem to be too many parallels to call these similar celebrations a coincidence.

For example, in the Americas, there is the Mexican Day of the Dead
(El Día de los Muertos) that goes back to the ancient festival of the dead celebrated by Aztecs and the more-ancient Olmecs

Brazilians also celebrate Finados (Day of the Dead). Bolivia has the Day of the Skulls (Día de los Natitas).

In Asia, there are similar festivals. For example, the Chinese celebrated the Ghost Festival, which was a day to pay homage to dead ancestors.
The Japanese celebrated something similar called O-bon or merely Bon
Even Vietnam has a variant of the Ghost Festival called Tet Trung Nguyen.
In Korea, there is Chuseok or Hankawi, in which deceased ancestors are ritualized.
In Nepal, there is the cow pilgrimage called Gia Jatra to honor the recently deceased.
In the Philippines, there is the Day of the Dead (Araw ng mga Patay), where tombs are cleaned and repainted.

Death is a terrible reality for all of us—not something to celebrate or treat as fun.
*Death is the punishment for sin.
Since all of us are sinners (Romans 3:23), we must realize that death is coming
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)."

Roots of those Halloween Superstitions

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Ephesians 4:14

"Halloween has always been a holiday filled with mystery, magic and superstition

It began as a Celtic end-of-summer festival during which people felt especially close to deceased relatives and friends.
For these spirits,
--they set places at the dinner table,
--left treats on doorsteps
--and lit candles to help loved ones find their way back to the spirit world.

We avoid crossing paths with black cats, afraid that they might bring
us bad luck. This idea has its roots in the Middle Ages, when many people believed that
witches avoided detection by turning themselves into black cats.

We try not to walk under ladders for the same reason. This superstition may have come from the ancient Egyptians, who believed that triangles were sacred."

All Souls’ Day vs. Scripture

For the living know that they shall die:
but the dead know not any thing....
Ecclesiastes 9:5

"In Mexico, Latin America and Spain, All Souls’ Day, which takes place on November 2, is commemorated with a three-day celebration that begins on the evening of October 31.
The celebration is designed to honor the dead who, it is believed, return to their earthly homes on Halloween
Many families construct an altar to the dead in their homes to honor deceased relatives and decorate it with candy, flowers, photographs, samples of the deceased’s favorite foods and drinks, and fresh water. Candles and incense are burned to help the deceased find the way home. Relatives also tidy the gravesites of their departed family members."

IN the NEWS - What Does A Catholic Halloween Party Look Like?

---Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;...
---Abstain from all appearance of evil.
2 Corinthians 6:17/1 Thessalonians 5:22

"Guilherme Peixoto, also known as DJ Priest, is a Catholic priest
who led a dance party for 1.5 million young Catholics before Pope Francis’ Sunday morning mass at World Youth Day 2023.

Now, the same Catholic priest played his dance music at the Monsterland Halloween Festival 2023, the largest Halloween party in Italy. Guilherme Peixoto has the Pope’s blessing , and this party priest participates in pagan festivals that glorify witchcraft and Satanism through dance music.

Q: How do Catholic priests transmit the faith through club music or minister to those who are dressed up like vampires, zombies, monsters, skeletons, and witches?
These representations and horrible music are designed to bring you to Satan, not Christ.

These Catholic priest-led Halloween events are aggressive marketing campaigns meant to immerse kids into spiritualism."

Catholics Admit Halloween is Catholic Holiday

Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

"Is the holiday known as “Halloween” Catholic?
The first happy hint is in the word “holiday.” Holiday comes from
the word “
Holy Day”—that is, from the holy celebrations and feasts of the Church.
Yes, Halloween is Catholic.
As noted above, however, it is the “true and original substance” of Halloween that is Catholic.
The violence, gore, sensuality, occultism, and demonic aspects now associated with Halloween are not, in fact, true to its origins.

Christians and non-Christians now fail to realize that Halloween is a hijacked holy day. Both are convinced it has pagan origins.
The result is that Catholics react in one of three ways. They either
1) go with the flow, celebrating Halloween in a secular way and not giving the holiday much thought or
2) insist that Halloween should not be celebrated at all or
3) insist that Halloween needs to be “baptized” and turned into a harmless holiday. The word “Halloween”—or “Hallowe’en”—comes from All Hallow’s Eve.

All Hallows Eve is the vigil celebration of All Saints Day—also known as All Hallows Day.
The word “hallow” means “holy.”
All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation, and a major feast on the Church’s liturgical calendar.
All Saints Day honors not only the saints in heaven whom we know by name, but also the countless saints in heaven whose names are unknown to us.

The exact origins of [All Saints Day is] uncertain, although, after the
legalization of Christianity in 313, a common commemoration of Saints, especially the martyrs, appeared in various areas throughout the Church…

The primary reason for establishing a common feast day was because of the desire to honor the great number of martyrs, especially during the persecution of Emperor Diocletian (284-305), the worst and most extensive of the persecutions." GoodCatholic.com

Thoughts around the Jack-o’-Lantern

*The Question here to ponder is how did supposed "Christians" in
Ireland come to still hold to pagan myths from their distant past, blend them into the warped thinking that a carved turnip (later Pumpkin) can be used for scaring away spirits?
I'm guessing those spirits aren't afraid of a carved squash of any kind...just saying...  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
Q: Where were the shepherds of the flock all those centuries this was forming?
A: Oh, that's right...there were teaching massive errors on "hell", state of the dead and so-called purgatory.

"The tradition of carving Jack-o’-Lanterns originated in Ireland using
turnips instead of pumpkins
It is allegedly based on a legend about a man named Stingy Jack who repeatedly trapped the Devil and only let him go on the condition that Jack would never go to Hell
But when Jack died, he learned that Heaven did not want his soul either, so he was forced to wander the Earth as a ghost for eternity. The Devil gave Jack a burning lump of coal in a carved-out turnip to light his way.
Locals eventually began carving scary faces into their own turnips to frighten away evil spirits." HeatherThomas

Catholic Church Takes Credit for "Halloween"

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2 Corinthians 6:17

"Although Halloween has been embraced by the secular world, its
foundations are firmly rooted in Catholic tradition. Dr Malcolm Brown of the Alcuin Institute for Catholic Culture explains the significance of All Hallows’ Eve
The name itself comes from All Hallow’s Eve – that is, the Vigil of All Saints’ Day, when Catholics remember those who have gone before us to enter our heavenly home. Immediately afterwards, on November 2, the Church commemorates all the faithful departed still detained in Purgatory, and prays in suffrage for them.
Vatican News spoke with Dr Marcel Brown, of the Alcuin Institute for Catholic Culture in Tulsa, about the Catholic roots of Halloween. “The feast of Halloween is one of those feasts on the Catholic calendar that is celebrated on the eve of a great solemnity”, he said.
The modern focus on the eerie or mysterious also has a Catholic aspect. “When we think of Halloween, I think we often think of ghosts and goblins, and ghoulish faces”, Dr Brown said. “But even these, in the Catholic tradition, are supposed to be reminders of death and of the last things”."

Creation Moment 10/31/2022 - Image of God or Frankenstein?

"In a recent article on the Atlantic magazine’s website, there was a culture piece that looked at horror movie villains as “queer icons.”
.....the article— the author, Mary Retta, looked at several different “movie monsters,” and one association really stood out.
She quoted another author, Susan Stryker, who in 1994 said this in regard to Frankenstein’s monster:
The transsexual body is an unnatural body. It is the product of medical science. It is a technological construction. It is flesh torn apart and sewn together again in a shape other than that in which it was born.”

-----Everyone is remade in one way or another. Either we “remake” ourselves in our own fallen and distorted image by surgery, addiction, hedonism, false religion, doing what is right in our own eyes (In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Judges 21:25), or some other panacea which excludes God. Or as Scripture teaches, we are remade in the image of Christ.

The development of the child in the womb is one of the wonders of the created world, wherein genetic material from the father and mother comes together to create a new, unique individual. Scripture rightly says that people are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
By contrast, Victor Frankenstein crudely sewed together his monster, hindered by the constraints of his abilities and tools. The resulting abomination is rejected in disgust by his creator.....Science is also co-opted for so-called “gender affirmative care” in which
biological males receive surgery and hormones to feminize their appearance and vice versa for women. However, there is no way to truly turn a male into a female or a female into a male.
A man will never have the capacity to bear and nurse offspring as a mother does, and a woman will never father children. This sad imitation of manhood or womanhood robs them of their God-given femininity or masculinity that should be healthy and honoring for them as image-bearers of God. In this sin-cursed world, however, people are often confused, connived, or coerced into believing lies about their bodies, gender, or sexuality.

Victor Frankenstein provides his monster with a horrific “new life” pieced together from previously dead pieces of corpses and electrified with lightning.
People have always sought their own solution to the curse of death, and the monster could be seen as almost an “anti-resurrected” being. Instead of the body being gloriously transformed to a state suited to eternal life in the presence of Christ, Frankenstein’s monster has a cursed existence between life and death." AIG

Pagan Roots of Witches on Broomsticks

Are You Serious?
In the "Christian" era, there were still farmers engaged in Pagan Rituals such as the Broomstick Dance?
When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. Deuteronomy 8:9

"The earliest known image of witches on brooms dates to 1451,

when two illustrations appeared in the French poet Martin Le Franc’s manuscript Le Champion des Dames (The Defender of Ladies)

The association between witches and brooms may have roots in a pagan fertility ritual, in which rural farmers would leap and dance astride poles, pitchforks or brooms in the light of the full moon to encourage the growth of their crops.

This “broomstick dance" became confused with common accounts of witches flying through the night on their way to orgies and other illicit meetings." History

BTW.....Disney has the Broomstick Dance for your children --- in the

"Christian" era too.... in the 21st century---"The Broomstick Dance" is a song from the Sofia the First episode, "Cauldronation Day" and is sung by Sofia, Lucinda, Lily, Indigo, and many other unnamed witches." wikiDisney

A Catholic Pagan Holiday That Triggers Criminal Activity --go figure....

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2 Corinthians 6:16

"Retired police occult investigator Don Thompson doesn't think parents should burn their children's Halloween costumes. But the former Baltimore County policeman does think parents should be aware that the holiday has a dangerous side.

"It's fun for little kids to dress up, but people should remember that

this is one of the satanic holy days. It calls for specific rites and rituals to be done on this day," said Mr. Thompson, 45. He recently retired after 22 years, 14 of them investigating criminal satanic activity in Maryland.

"Satanism is a high-crime area," he said. "There's a lot of teen-age occult activity in all the counties in Maryland -- destruction of properties, animal sacrifices.

--I've also seen some abuse by parents of children,
--and adults who have been abused and held in different rites and rituals [in Maryland]. But not a lot."

Halloween, with its occult origins in the ancient Druid festivals, has left a legacy in which small crimes are "commonplace and accepted behavior," Mr. Thompson added. "Defacing churches and knocking over tombstones isn't innocent and cute. In Chicago they've had Hell Night, when they burn down houses the night before Halloween." BaltimoreSun

Let's Be Honest About What God Thinks of Halloween

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire,
or that useth divination,
or an observer of times,
or an enchanter,
or a witch
Or a charmer,
or a consulter with familiar spirits(or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. in the NLT)
or a wizard,
or a necromancer.
--For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12

"According to Celtic tradition during Samhain, the veil between our world and the “Otherworld” is broken, which enables spirits from the dead to come back and visit the living. As part of Samhain, the Celts offered food, animals, and even people to the spirit world.

In addition to the spirit world being able to visit the real world, the Celts believed witches, goblins, fairies, and demons would be roaming around the earth and could visit the inhabitants of the earth.

The Druids believed in order to appease the demons, witches, fairies, and goblins
---you had to leave them sweets
---or you had to dress up like them in a costume in order to not be detected as a human being." Christian.com

When Paganism, Spiritualism and Church Deisre for Synthesis walk into a "Holy Day"/Holiday....

2 Corinthians 6:17

"All Souls’ Day parades .....During the festivities, poor citizens would
beg for food and families would give them pastries called “soul cakes” in return for their promise to pray for the family’s dead relatives.

The distribution of soul cakes was encouraged by the church as a way to replace the ancient practice of leaving food and wine for roaming spirits." History.com

IN the NEWS - Nasty People in this World

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

"A razor blade was reportedly found in a piece of candy that was given to a child on Halloween in upstate New York police say, according to

The Village of Coxsackie mayor stated that a child received the piece of candy while they were trick-or-treating Saturday night with their parent, per Fox 6.

The parent of the child said they found the razor blade inside of a Mounds bar, says WRGB. The parent took the child to about 60 houses that night. " DailyCaller
