What are so-called "Present Truth" Preachers?
From my Personal Observation over the last Decade----
Those who call themselves "Present Truth" ministries seem to have 3 characteristics:
1) They tend to Preach ONLY on distinct SDA Doctrines (unlike mainstream theological conservative preachers such as Doug Batchelor, Randy Skeete, Stephen Bohr, etc. who preach on both Adventist doctrine and other aspects of the Bible).
2) They tend to do "Prophecy-by-Headline" where they
Sensationalize weekly headlines and twist them to fit their prophetic narrative. Where every earthquake, every hurricane, every word uttered by a President is a fulfillment of Prophecy.
3) They Excessively bash in nearly every sermon the Church Leadership. They don't have a measured Response.
The big names in cyberspace are Andrew Henriques, J.R. Cofer, David House and Emmanuel Nougaisse.
We are NOT saying that all of them are deceptive---but recently it
has come out that Nougaisse has had 6 wives in 6 years from globetrotting around the world.
In one video his Ukrainian wife, who didn't know he had remarried while still married to her, showed up during one his sermons to confront him.
Also, a wealthy donor of his did a video showing the documentation of donating $22,000 to his crusade in England for billboards. But the billboards were never purchased. Another $10,000 for cameras for the ministry that were not purchased. And another $10.000 towards an RV for the ministry that has never been purchased. As expected Nougaisse has refused to respond to this wealthy donors emails for info as to why and where the money went.
As for Henriques, that solar eclipse a few years back, that followed a path from South Carolina to Washington State, was Sensationalized SHAMELESSLY as a prophetic time of the end event even though it was a predictable eclipse in advance based on the Laws of Physics that the Creator set up to govern His universe, No different than predicting each night where the moon will be in the sky at 2 A.M., 3 A.M., etc.
