"Pope Francis met with the President of Estonia, Ms. Kersti Kaljulaid, this morning, Nov. 28, 2019, in the Vatican.
According to a statement from the Holy See Press Office, the discussions took place “in a cordial atmosphere” and “satisfaction was expressed for the good state of relations between Estonia and the Holy See, recalling theHoly Father’s visit to Estonia in 2018, for the centenary of the country’s independence.”
“Subsequently,” it noted, “some issues of mutual interest were discussed, such as the role of education, social justice, and the protection of creation.”
