"Secret" Rapture MYTH

There are 2 verses used as the backbone of the "Secret" Rapture MYTH:

1) That Jesus will come as a thief in the night- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:2

But this simply means that Christ will come suddenly and unexpected- For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage , until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came , and took them all away ; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:38,39

2) The 2 men & 2 women-

2a) One Bed - I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken , and the other shall be left. Luke 17:34

This simply refers to the resurrection. For sleep is what death is referred to. These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth ; but I go , that I may awake him out of sleep. Howbeit Jesus spakeof his death: John 11:11,13

2b) 2 Women - Two women shall be grinding together ; the one shall be taken , and the other left. Luke 17:35

This simply refers to the 2 churches working on earth, Babylon & Jerusalem, as represented in Revelation. I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman. Jeremiah 6:2 & .....for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. Revelation 19:2

2c) The Field- Two men shall bein the field; the one shall be taken , and the other left. Luke 17:36

This field is simply the world wherein the 2 groups are labouring in. The field is the world; Matthew 13:38
