Creation Moment 2/27/2012 - BioLogos blames 7th Day Adventists for Creationism

BioLogos is an organization that pushes theistic evolution (evolution-but God did it). They are clearly an un-Biblical organization (& I would argue also not scientific). They posted an article by Giberson which claims that the Seventh Day Adventist Church is responsible for the Creationism.
His thesis is as follows:

1. Seventh-Day Adventism is wrong.
2. Young Earth Creationism came from Seventh-Day Adventism.
3. Therefore Young Earth Creationism is wrong.

Of course young earth creationism can be traced back to the turn of the century in such non-Adventist publications as "The Fundamentals" which gave us the term "fundamentalism" as opposed to the "modernist" movement at the turn of the last century. The modernists were trying to reinterpret scripture so as to fit with the secular world view. The fundamentalists were trying to defend scripture and not compromise.

But if BioLogos & Giberson want to "blame" my Church (SDA) for creationism-I say THANK YOU- we will take the credit........
