But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets.”

Then the question comes in, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid; yea, we establish the law.” 

Notice, he had already said that although this righteousness of God is “without the law,” and by faith of Christ, yet it is “witnessed by the law and the prophets.” 

It is a righteousness that accords with the law;...it is indeed the very

righteousness of the law itself; for it is the righteousness of God, and the law is only the law of God. It is the righteousness of God, which in Christ is wrought out for us by His perfect obedience to the commandments of God, and of which we become partakers by faith in Him; 

This is shown again in Galatians 2:17: “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.” 

To be found sinners, is to be found transgressors of the law; for “sin is the transgression of the law.” 

*Then since the Lord has set His everlasting “God forbid” against any suggestion that Christ is the minister of the transgression of the law, 

---it follows as certainly that Christ ministers the keeping of the law. The believer in Jesus finds in Christ the keeping of the commandments of God—the law of God.

Creation Moment 7/23/2025 - Evolutionary Origins no different than Frankenstein Nonsense

"How does life emerge from that which is not alive? This mystery exercises a peculiar fascination, with the power to elicit remarkable feats of imagination. 

As the novelist Mary Shelley recalled, her invention of the story of Frankenstein traced back to conversations she witnessed between Lord Byron and her husband, Percy Shelley. 

Holidaying in Switzerland in the summer of 1816, they spoke late into the night, past the “witching hour,” about “the principle of life, and whether there was any probability of its ever being discovered and communicated.” 

Up for discussion was gossip about “experiments of Dr. Darwin” (Erasmus, the grandfather of Charles) who “by some extraordinary means” produced “voluntary motion” in a length of spaghetti. The poets alluded to “galvanism,” electrical experiments by Luigi Galvani, spurring thoughts that “a corpse would be reanimated.” Later, sleepless in her bed, Mrs. Shelley would experience a vision, receiving the seed for one of the great horror novels.

Less horrific but hardly less imaginative are scenarios of unguided “chemical evolution,” or abiogenesis, featured in high school and college biology textbooks, taken as gospel by the media and preached as such by a range of authoritative popular and scholarly figures in the culture. 

Simple experimental work by Louis Pasteur in the early 1860s demonstrated that life does not spontaneously generate itself, not from spaghetti, not from anything.

Creation Moment 7/22/2025 - Case for a Creator: Helium Analogy

And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. Colossians 1:17

 "The element helium was first discovered by an astronomer, not a chemist, because its existence was inferred from observations of sunlight before it was actually found on earth. 

The astronomer, Norman Lockyer, noticed that there was a wavelength of light produced by the sun that was not produced by any element yet discovered. He inferred that there must therefore be an undiscovered element in the sun. This was a perfectly legitimate inference, Occam’s razor notwithstanding, because no already-known entity could produce that wavelength of light. And it made no difference that no one knew exactly how or why different elements produced different wavelengths of light. If any chemist had insisted that there was not a new element in the sun, he would have needed to show that you actually can get that wavelength using only the already-known elements. In fact, the English chemist Edward Franklin attempted to do this by putting hydrogen under extreme heat and pressure, but was unsuccessful. 

The same goes for evolution. The evolution of highly complex biological systems has never been observed, and there are certain theoretical arguments that purport to show that it is essentially impossible (statistically speaking) for random variation, natural selection, and the laws of nature alone to produce those systems. So any scientist who wants to argue that the already-known entities in nature could produce all of biology needs to show how this could occur, in spite of the theoretical hurdles. 

---If they can’t do this, then we are perfectly justified in proposing a new entity, such as a designer. 

One final objection must be answered. 

Q: If we don’t know exactly how the designer crafted life, then how do we even know that a designer is the right explanation? Couldn’t it just as easily be something else? 

Once again, the story of helium is illuminating. Helium and intelligent design are both parsimonious explanations regarding the broad type of cause, yet non-parsimonious regarding the specific entity. 

Lockyer proposed an element, rather than something else (e.g., a new law of nature), because it was already known that elements can produce light. But he proposed a new element, because it was known that none of the old elements could produce that particular wavelength of light. 

Likewise, ID theorists propose a designer to explain the specified

complexity of life because it is already known that designers (i.e., minds) can produce specified complexity. But we must propose a new designer, because none of the old designers (ourselves, beavers, etc.) are capable of having created the systems in question. 

By now it should be clear why it is the height of silliness to demand proof that the designer could create life, or to expect detailed explanations of how it could be done. If chance and necessity are insufficient to produce life, then we must conclude that something beyond chance and necessity was involved.

Creation Moment 7/21/2025 - Biochemistry behind why life could not form on it's own

"Rice University chemist James Tour, along with co-authors M. C.

Parker and C. Jeynes, recently published an article in BioCosmos titled “Thermodynamic Limitations on the Natural Emergence of Long Chain Molecules: Implications for Origin of Life.” The study demonstrates that proteins and RNA degrade at rates that render their spontaneous formation under natural, undirected conditions highly implausible. To date, no origin-of-life researcher has provided a substantive response to the thermodynamic challenges outlined in the paper.

The study found that the decay time constant approximates the decay time constant of a dimer (a pair of amino acids or nucleotides joined by a single bond) divided by the length of the chain. 

---In other words, longer chains degrade more quickly, with the time constant decreasing in direct proportion to chain length. They summarize their results as follows:

"For a polymer of N-monomer-units long, or N-mer, which has a dimer decay time constant of t, the polymer decay time constant is proved to be closely approximated by t/N (under rather general assumptions). The implications of this for abiogenesis are profound, namely that there would be small amounts of time available (order of days) for a prebiotic sequence of a condensation polymer to serve as the primary information-bearing code for the last universal common ancestor."

More specifically, the half-life of a dipeptide — two amino acids linked by a peptide bond, as found in proteins — is approximately 7 years. Therefore, a polypeptide chain of 200 amino acids, which is typical for many functional proteins, has a half-life of only 13 days. The situation is even more severe for RNA. A chain of two nucleotides has a half-life of about 100 days, meaning that an RNA strand of 200 nucleotides would degrade in roughly 12 hours. Both classes of molecules decay far more rapidly than they could plausibly form under natural conditions, making their spontaneous emergence highly unlikely in any undirected origin-of-life scenario.

For a typical protein, the discovery time in one liter of water would be on the order of 10,000 years, which is over 100,000 times longer than most protein half-lives. The situation is even worse for RNA since it has a much shorter half-life. Yet origin scenarios require far larger volumes than a liter. The synthesis of the building blocks of life requires at least eight different environments, so the volume of water that a protein would need to explore to find a nascent cell would be enormous.

The protein could never find its way into a staging ground for life’s origin before degrading."

"Rumors of War": Rumors are swirling that China is preparing to start WW3 by attacking Taiwan. A city on the coast of China across from Taiwan is on lockdown and the residents claim it is filling up with Chinese military supplies. Their theory is

that China will start a war by launching into Taiwan so as to unify the homeland as opposition, protests and riots mount against the communist government to all time highs. Especially during the ongoing devastation to China by "mother earth". 

Some Chinese netizens claim it would be a way to shift focus from the devastation of their nation. Also, the U.S., Philippines, Japan and Taiwan are engaged in major military exercises. 

The U.S. is also running their biggest exercises with Panama near the canal in it's history adding to the rumor mill. Also China has warned the U.S. of military action.

Q: So, is this just China huffing and puffing to change focus of the home front problems OR is something about to really happen?

Creation Moment 7/19/2025 - When Atheists Dream On Company Time

"NASA Research Shows Path Toward Protocells on Titan (NASA, 14 July 2025). Reporter Aaron Gronstal is hallucinating. 

He envisions molecules magically coming together like leprechauns in the frozen wastes of Titan starting an epic journey toward life. “NASA research has shown that cell-like compartments called vesicles could form naturally in the lakes of Saturn’s moon Titan,” he teases, ramping up the perhapsimaybecouldness index far beyond the limits of scientific modesty. 

He knows better. 

Titan is all ice, with a surface -290° F, with polar lakes of hydrocarbons. Those lakes are as far from life as oil slicks are from birds dying on a polluted beach after an oil spill. Oh, he thinks, but maybe there could be life as we do not know it!

"Titan is the only world apart from Earth that is known to have liquid on its surface. However, Titan’s lakes and seas are not filled with

water. Instead, they contain liquid hydrocarbons like ethane and methane. On Earth, liquid water is thought to have been essential for the origin of life as we know it. Many astrobiologists have wondered whether Titan’s liquids could also provide an environment for the formation of the molecules required for life – either as we know it or perhaps as we don’t know it – to take hold there."

Aaron might shift the blame for this wandering wondering to the clueless atheists who recently published in the International Journal of Astrobiology dreaming on company time that “stable vesicles might form on Titan” that might represent a step toward what life needs someday over the rainbow.

Creation Moment 7/18/2025 - Soaring Birds

"Soaring birds are a majestic sight to behold, especially when they undergo such climbing and endless spiraling so effortlessly. Not surprisingly, evolutionists see this elegant soaring ability as having originated via deep time and evolution.

"Now, an international team of researchers led by University of Florida evolutionary biologist Emma Schachner, Ph.D., has reported for the first time that soaring birds use their lungs to enhance their flying in a way that has evolved over time." An Air-Filled Sac within Birds’ Lungs Is Believed to Modify Mechanics of Flight while Soaring. University of Florida. Posted on phys.org June 12, 2024.

Dr. Schachner stated, “that breathing is functionally linked to locomotion, and it has been demonstrated that flapping enhances ventilation.” She went on to say their

“findings demonstrate that the opposite is also true in some species.

We have shown that a component of the respiratory system is influencing and modifying the performance of the flight apparatus in soaring birds, who are using their lungs to modify the biomechanics of their flight muscles.”

Schachner discovered a unique structure—an air sac—quite by accident while dissecting a hawk. It was named the subpectoral diverticulum, or SPD, and was the subject of her article in Nature.

"The subpectoral diverticulum (SPD) is an extension of the respiratory system in birds that is located between the primary muscles responsible for flapping the wing. Here we survey the pulmonary apparatus in 68 avian species, and show that the SPD was present in virtually all of the soaring taxa investigated but absent in non-soarers."

When viewing a soaring bird, the wings seem to be held in a motionless, horizontal position. Much of this has to do with the birds’ pectoralis muscle and the muscle’s ability to produce force.

"The team found that the anatomy of the pectoralis muscle of soaring birds is significantly different from that of nonsoaring birds in ways that improve force generation. Taken together, these results provide strong evidence that the SPD optimizes the function of the pectoralis muscle in soaring birds by improving their ability to keep the wing in a static, horizontal position."

The case for design is clearly seen in this SPD discovery and research. The scientists in the Nature article said, “The discovery of a mechanical role for the respiratory system in avian locomotion underscores the functional complexity and heterogeneity of this organ system.”

Even before this study was conducted, the avian respiratory system was not completely understood, such as the bird’s airflow: “Within this vast system of connecting passageways, there are no valves to suggest what the pattern of airflow might be. This has led to much speculation about the roles played by the different parts of the respiratory system” and includes the mystery of the amazing syrinx.

Add to this the “heterogeneity of this organ system” as flight mechanics, respiratory physiology, and locomotion are combined to produce an amazing designed creature of flight.

Articles in Nature and Phys.org described the SPD discovery in soaring birds as having evolved “at least seven times independently across distantly related soaring lineages.” This naturally evolving just once would strain credibility, but Schachner et al. speak of “repeated appearance of the SPD in soaring lineages.”

*There is a better, non-evolutionary explanation for the important SPD. Creationists see it as being placed in soaring birds by the Lord  in the beginning. Dr. Schachner states, “This evolutionary pattern strongly suggests that this unique structure is functionally significant for soaring flight.” Creationists respond that the SPD found in soaring birds—and absent in all nonsoaring birds—is functionally designed for soaring flight.

As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings… (Deuteronomy 32:11)."

In a message delivered to the United Nations’ AI for Good Summit in Geneva, Pope Leo XIV, through Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, called on nations to develop regulatory frameworks for

artificial intelligence that prioritize the “common good,” which is the idea that the church’s moral theology is necessary for a just society. • “The development of this technology ‘must go hand in hand with respect for human and social values, the capacity to judge with a clear conscience, and growth in human responsibility.’ It requires ‘discernment to ensure that AI is developed and utilized for the common good, building bridges of dialogue and fostering fraternity,’ the Pope urged. AI needs to serve ‘the interests of humanity as a whole‘.”

Programming artificial intelligence to align with Catholic social teachings is essentially using this technology to advance the doctrines of the church. AI should remain neutral and serve people of all faiths—or none at all. Embedding Catholic teachings into AI systems elevates a single religion—Rome—above all others. This amounts to weaponizing technology to push the Vatican’s agenda into government, education, corporations, and the general public.

Rome has long held ambitions of reestablishing its lost supremacy, and these efforts to influence the development of artificial intelligence represents a continuation of this agenda. By inserting its teachings—under the guise of promoting the “common good”—into the very heart of AI’s operational and regulatory frameworks, the Vatican is seeking to position itself to guide the future direction of a technology that will soon govern every aspect of human life, from communication, commerce, education, and governance to personal decision-making.'

Inverse Relationship of Christ and Lucifer

"The course of Christ from the time he consented to step out from His position of equality with God, His life on earth of sorrow and suffering, and His vicarious death, blasted and shattered all the misrepresentations and false charges Satan had uttered against the government of God, to the everlasting discomfiture of the rebel leader and all his hosts. 

Here was a display of love and mercy, pity and compassion, sacrifice and sorrow, long-suffering and forgiveness, which had in it no element of selfishness. It was not for the self-exaltation and self aggrandizement of God and Christ that this was done. The main factor in this wonderful work was the rescue of man from ruin, and his everlasting exaltation in glory.

But chiefly is its object seen in the lifting of man from the gates of death to honor, glory, and everlasting life in the kingdom of heaven. In the light of these facts, an expression used by Paul in Col.1:20, becomes beautifully clear: "And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."

Q: Are there things there which need to be reconciled? 

The reconciling of things in the earth can be easily understood; for here rebellion is going on from the ranks of which men are to be reclaimed and reconciled to him by the grace of God. 

No such state of things exists in heaven, or, what is doubtless referred to, the heavenly worlds; and yet there may be a reconciliation to be effected there. 

Throughout the heavenly dominions, the rebellion of Satan is, of course, known, and his complaints and charges well understood. 

He had influence enough to draw a multitude of the heavenly host with him in his disaffection. 

*How far his influence may have extended to other beings in other worlds, - not to create rebellion, but to excite some query, or generate in some minds a feeling of uncertainty, - we may now know. 

But something of this kind might not be outside the range of possibilities. 

But the work of Christ, as the Redeemer of men, sweeps away all doubts, dispels all uncertainties."

"In a recent paper published in Nature Communications Psychology, a research team at NYU, led by Associate Professor Adeen Flinker and Postdoctoral Researcher Adam Morgan, explored how the brain constructs sentences from individual words.

The study revealed that although the brain’s activity patterns for individual words stay consistent across different language tasks, the way those words are arranged and processed depends heavily on sentence structure. In sensorimotor areas, neural activity mirrored the order in which the words were spoken.

However, in prefrontal regions—especially the inferior and middle frontal gyri—the encoding strategy was different. These areas not only represented the words participants intended to say but also registered each word’s grammatical function (such as subject or object) and its place within the sentence’s overall structure.

The researchers also found that during passive constructions like

“Frankenstein was hit by Dracula,” the prefrontal cortex maintained activation for both nouns throughout the entire sentence. 

Even while one word was being spoken, the other remained active in the brain. This ongoing, simultaneous encoding indicates that forming grammatically complex or non-standard sentences requires the brain to retain and manage multiple elements at once, likely engaging additional working memory to do so.

Interestingly, this dynamic aligns with a longstanding observation in linguistics: most of the world’s languages favor placing subjects before objects. The researchers propose that this could be due, in part, to neural efficiency.

Ultimately, this work offers a detailed glimpse into the cortical choreography of sentence production and challenges some of the long-standing assumptions about how speech unfolds in the brain. Rather than a simple linear process, it appears that speaking involves a flexible interplay between stable word representations and syntactically driven dynamics, shaped by the demands of grammatical structure."

Romans 3:20 By the law [then] is the knowledge of sin. 

Q: By what law was the knowledge of sin after the resurrection of Christ? 

A: The very same law that was given when it was said, Exodus 20:17 You shall not covet. The law, then, by which sin is known, is the ten commandments, and you cannot deny it! 

This law says, 

The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you

shall not do any work, you nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger that is within your gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."
