This string of massive natural disasters gripping the planet continues:

China: The Floods continue to ravage a majority of the Chinese

Exploding vehicles across China

landmass as the record heatwave continues along with now vehicles exploding due to batteries overheating. Apparently 19 provinces are impacted. Also massive winds hit portions of the country--again. Record hail storm pounds Hainan Province.

U.S.A.: A FIRENADO (tornado mixed with a wildfire it carries along) swept parts of Utah. Earthquake off the coast of Alaska triggering a tsunami warning.

Massive flooding of NYC, 90% of New Jersey as well as Davenport, Iowa and central Texas. Wildfire sweeps through the Grand Canyon.

Italy: Largest quake yet in Naples sends people into streets screaming in panic. Asphalt has been splitting roads with the smell of sulfur heavy in the air.

France: Southeast France pounded by rain and hail leading to flooding.

Germany: Central Germany now flooded.

Solar Flare this week

Spain: Earthquake shakes 50 cities across southern Spain while rains triggered severe flooding at the same time.

Sun: Massive solar flare length of the sun shot out but was facing away from earth. (you know---the kind if it hit earth would knock out power grids)

Morocco: Record heatwave. Deaths reported.

Iceland: Volcano sends out molten rivers.

Ethiopia: Volcano erupts. 

Japan: More quakes now topping 2,000 off the coast and separating 2 islands further apart.

Turkey: Out-of-Control wildfires...worst in nation's history.

"Rumors of War": Rumors are swirling that China is preparing to start WW3 by attacking Taiwan. A city on the coast of China across from Taiwan is on lockdown and the residents claim it is filling up with Chinese military supplies. Their theory is

that China will start a war by launching into Taiwan so as to unify the homeland as opposition, protests and riots mount against the communist government to all time highs. Especially during the ongoing devastation to China by "mother earth". 

Some Chinese netizens claim it would be a way to shift focus from the devastation of their nation. Also, the U.S., Philippines, Japan and Taiwan are engaged in major military exercises. 

The U.S. is also running their biggest exercises with Panama near the canal in it's history adding to the rumor mill. Also China has warned the U.S. of military action.

Q: So, is this just China huffing and puffing to change focus of the home front problems OR is something about to really happen?

IN the NEWS - The Sun in the 2020's {Sun Cycle 25}

"Every 11 years, the Sun's poles swap places; south becomes north and north becomes south. It's not clear what drives these cycles, but we do know that the poles switch when the magnetic field is at its weakest.

Because the Sun's magnetic field controls its activity - sunspots (temporary regions of strong magnetic fields), solar flares, and coronal mass ejections (produced by magnetic field lines snapping and reconnecting) - this stage of the cycle manifests as a period of very minimal activity. It's called the solar minimum.

 

Once the poles have switched, the magnetic field strengthens, and solar activity rises to a solar maximum before subsiding for the next polar switch.

 

McIntosh noticed something interesting. Over the course of about 20 years or so, flickers of extreme ultraviolet light called coronal bright points seem to move from the poles towards the equator, meeting in the middle.

The movement of these bright points across the mid-latitudes seems to coincide with sunspot activity.

These bright points, McIntosh believes, are linked with bands of magnetic fields that wrap around the Sun, propagating from the poles to the equator every 11 years or so.

Because they have opposite polarity, when they meet in the middle, they cancel each other out - what the researchers call a "terminator". These terminator events mark the end of a solar magnetic cycle, and the start of the next. But they don't always take exactly the same amount of time. Sometimes these bands slow down as they reach mid-latitudes, which means that the length of time between terminator events varies. And the team noticed that there's a correlation between the length of time between terminators and the intensity of the following solar maximum.

Solar Cycle 24 was much quieter than the cycles that preceded it. But it was also really short, coming in under the 10-year mark. If the team's analyses are in point, we should be in for a lot of sunspots by the mid-2020s.

 

Our method predicts that SC25 could be among the strongest sunspot cycles ever observed, depending on when the upcoming termination happens, and it is highly likely that it will certainly be stronger than present SC24 (sunspot number of 116) and most likely stronger than the previous SC23 (sunspot number of 180). Will this type of event finally produce the big one at some point down the road that knocks out power on part of the earth? Imagine the chaos that would ensue....

"On Sunday, SpaceWeather said the sun's solar explosion was measured as an M4.4-category eruption, which produced a

shortwave radio blackout over some parts of Earth and a bright coronal mass ejection (CME). 

"Remarkably, the flare was even bigger than it seemed. The blast site is located just behind the sun's southeastern limb, so the explosion was partially eclipsed by the body of the sun."

 "X-rays and UV radiation from the flare ionized the top of Earth's atmosphere, producing a shortwave radio blackout over the South Atlantic... Ham radio operators and mariners may have noticed strange propagation effects at frequencies below 20 MHz, with some transmissions below 10 MHz completely extinguished,"

SpaceWeather said on its website.

 A coronagraph video via the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) shows the massive burst of electromagnetic radiation ejecting from the sun. 

SpaceWeather said the flare and an associated CME were not Earth-facing but erupted behind the sun's southeastern limb. This is good news because the explosion was partially eclipsed by the body of the sun. If the flare were Earth-facing, it would've likely been an X-class event, meaning it could've resulted in widespread radio blackouts, downed power grids, and disrupted communication networks. 

In 2017, we noted that FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Administration) planned for a massive solar event that would be strong enough to take down the power grids.

There has also been a couple of notable solar flare events in the last three years:

With the Earth entering what appears to be an active solar period that could last through 2025 - this would present many challenges for the new digital economy as remote working has been kicked into hyperdrive because of the virus pandemic.

SpaceWeather warns that from Dec. 1-2, Sunday's M4.4-class solar flare might sideswipe Earth's magnetic field. 

"The hidden sunspot that produced this major event will rotate onto the Earthside of the sun during the next day or two," according to SpaceWeather. "Then its ability to spark geomagnetic storms will be greatly increased."
