Pre-Advent Judgment via Sola Scriptura

I. There is a Pre-Advent (Investigative) Judgment:

(Begins with God's professed people)

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1 Peter 4:17

And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, 

to give every man according as his work shall be. 

Revelation 22:12

God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: 

Ecclesiastes 3:17

But the LORD shall endure for ever: 

He hath prepared His throne for judgment. 

Psalm 9:7

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, 

but after this the judgment: 

Hebrews 1:27

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: 

thousand thousands ministered unto Him, 

and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: 

the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

II. What is Judged?
But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 

1 Peter 4:5

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 

Matthew 12:36

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts....

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; 

and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth,

and in the sight of thine eyes: 

but know thou, 

that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

For God shall bring every work into judgment,

III. The Saints get to Judge During the Millennium:

(That God made the right Judgment)

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? 

Know ye not that we shall judge angels?
1 Corinthians 6:2,3

Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 

Daniel 7:22

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 

Revelation 20:4

IV. Wicked get their turn AFETR the Millennium:

And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:11,12

V. Judgment SIMPLIFIED: 

(God checks to see if your heart is right with His)
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: 

and His commandments are not grievous. 

1 John 5:3
Create in me a pure heart, 

O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

[In order for one to have their name blotted out of His Book of Life--one had to be written in--meaning NO once-saved-always-saved]

SUMMARY:

"God applies the blood of Christ to our sin and cancels the debt we owe Him. Colossians 2:13–14 explains how that happens: “And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This He set aside, nailing it to the cross” (ESV).
Other translations of Colossians 2:14 bring out the same truth in various ways:
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances . . .” (KJV).
“God wiped out the charges” (CEV).
“He erased the certificate of debt” (CSB).
“Having blotted out the handwriting . . .” (BLB).
“He canceled the record of the charges” (NLT).
