Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And the new Jerusalem, the holy city, having already come down from God out of heaven, and being thus upon the earth, it is written:
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And thus, is fulfilled the promise made of old:
Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I creat...
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over you with joy;
He will rest in His love,
He will joy over you with singing."
