"Recently there has been a twitter campaign gaining ground of users requesting, that the animated
character, Elsa, from the movie Frozen be given a girlfriend, in the film Frozen 2, making her the first openly gay Disney princess. ..... If Disney were to follow through with the request, this generation would have the most LGBT members than any other generation in modern history. A large majority will join, not because they even really think they are gay, but just because it’s being accepted and promoted. The movie Frozen has already embraced the LGBT lifestyle and community in its first film. The film also features Disney’s first openly LGBT character, with a brief shot in the film of the character Oaken with his husband and children.
Supporters say this could be a positive step towards normalizing same-sex relationships and could help young people accept and understand their sexuality. Everyone can see that television and movies are some of the most effective ways to normalize something that otherwise would have been looked at as wrong or irregular. Seventh-day Adventists and anyone calling herself a Christian, need to abstain from watching secular TV and movies. Nothing we take in is for mere entertainment only, everything has a message that it’s trying to present. .... The creators of these popular TV shows and movies have motives greater than just entertaining people; they want to cause a change in society. .... In every Christian home each inhabitant must say ...choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15"
