"PALM BEACH, Fla. — Former Republican presidential
candidate Ben Carson, a Seventh-Day Adventist who Donald Trump once attacked ...endorsed the Presbyterian-identifying billionaire business mogul on Friday morning.
“I have found in talking with [Donald Trump] that … there is a lot more alignment philosophically and spiritually than I ever thought that there was,” he said at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. “That actually surprised me more than anything.”
Carson said that he prayed about endorsing Trump and believed that God was in the decision.
“You said throughout your life God has led you to your most important decisions,” one reporter noted. “This truly is an important decision. Did God lead you to Donald Trump?”
“I prayed about it a lot and I got a lot of indications,” Carson replied. “[There were] people calling me that I hadn’t talked to in a long time saying, ‘I had this dream about you and Donald Trump.’ Just amazing things.” ChristianNews
COMMENTS:
A: Ben Carson is scaring me......does he really think there is anything he has in common "spiritually" with a man who has never read his Bible? (he told a group of Evangelicals in Iowa he has never had to ask forgiveness of anything from God, he didn't know 2 Corinthians is pronounced "second" not "two", etc.).
B: Does Carson really want us to believe God led him to endorse Trump? NONSENSE. --IF-- anyone led him in that direction, I would argue it was the other side. Would a Trump - Carson administration be the one to implement you-know-what my fellow SDA's? Would Carson being SDA draw the issue into the forefront if a President Trump would move to implement you-know-what? But would Carson stay loyal to God or flip?
C: --BTW--WHO exactly are these people having "dreams" about Trump and Carson????? Or is Dr. Carson lying & just saying that?
D: I think Carson only endorsed Trump hoping to get the Veep slot. Which means he would be LYING about God leading him and other people having "dreams"....
E: Finally, if he really thinks God led him to Trump, and there really are people who have had "dreams" who called Carson-----then this is getting kinda scary for real. It wouldn't be God behind it.
