Attack # 5 on the Resurrection:
"The disciples observations were distorted later" - This is generally pushed by skeptics who think Jesus was a wise teacher but that the resurrection was a legend added later.
RESPONSE:
1) The earliest accounts have the disciples siting the resurrection as their reason for belief.
2) The students of the disciples also recorded the resurrection as the key component for the disciples belief.
3) Also, this skeptical claim still doesn't address the empty tomb or why Christ's body wasn't produced by the authorities to prove the disciples wrong.
