"Maranatha crews are continuing to build One-Day Schools in Haiti to replace those that were destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. In partnership with ADRA International, Maranatha has been working to construct 100 buildings in total. While Maranatha is using the One-Day School model, because of new requirements by the Haitian education department, these buildings have been modified to withstand 140-mile winds. The classrooms are reinforced with almost double the number of screws as there are in a typical One-Day structure, and there are more steel beams throughout."
