I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. 

Ecclesiastes 3:17

 

"The sins of men are written in the books of God’s remembrance.

The blotting out of the sins of the righteous does therefore involve the examination of these books for this very purpose. That the sins of men are thus written, is plainly revealed in the Scriptures.  

“For though thou wash thee with niter, and take thee much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me, said the Lord God.” Jeremiah 2:22.

 

THE judgment of the great day is an event certain to take place. “He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained.” Acts 17:31. What God hath appointed is sure to come in due time. The resurrection of Christ is an assurance to all men of the final judgment. 

 

The work to be accomplished is of immense magnitude. 

The judgment relates 

(1) to all the righteous; 

(2) to all the wicked; 

(3) to all the evil angels. 

The number of cases, therefore, to be acted upon at this grand tribunal exceeds our powers of conception. 

 

1. The righteous are to judge the wicked; yet the righteous are themselves to pass the test of the judgment. 

Whence it follows that the judgment must pass upon the righteous before they can sit in judgment upon the wicked.
This is a very important proposition. That it is truthful we know from the express testimony of the Scriptures.
“Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be

judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know you not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” 1 Corinthians 6:2,3.

“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” Daniel 7:21. 22.
Here is the exalted work of the saints in the judgment. They are to take part in the examination of the cases of all wicked men and fallen angels. 

---But this is not to be till they have been changed to immortality, and exalted to thrones of glory. They do not, therefore, have their cases decided at the same time with the wicked.

 

2. The trump of God sounds as the Savior descends from heaven. When that trump is heard, all the righteous are, in the twinkling of an eye, changed to immortality. 

 “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption; it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” “Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 14:42-44. 51,52.

There can be no examination after this to determine whether they shall be counted worthy of eternal life, for they will then have already laid hold upon it. 

---From this it follows that the examination and decision of the cases of the righteous takes place before the advent of Christ. The resurrection of the righteous to immortality is decisive proof that they have then already passed the test of the judgment. 

 

This period of investigative judgment is ushered in by a solemn proclamation to the inhabitants of the earth; and this investigative work embraces the closing years of human probation. This is a very important statement.
“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelation 14:6,7.
The gospel of Christ is “the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.” Romans 1:16. 

No other gospel than this can be preached, not even by an angel from heaven. Galatians 1:8. Whence it follows that the angel of Revelation 14:6,7, preaching the everlasting gospel, represents some part of the
great gospel proclamation. It is a part of that preaching which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. 

This fact alone is decisive that this proclamation concerning the hour of God’s judgment must be made while human probation still lasts. 

 

Two other solemn announcements follows. 

And it is evident that the human family are still upon probation, when the third angel declares that “if any man worship the beast . . . the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God. . . . Here is the patience of the saints.” This is a consecutive prophecy, as several expressions plainly indicate. And it is to be observed that the Son of man is seen upon the white cloud after all these solemn proclamations have been made.

That this announcement of the hour of God’s judgment precedes the advent of Christ, and is addressed to men while yet in probation, the fourteenth chapter of Revelation clearly proves." J.N. Andrews

The disk around GW Orionis consists of three concentric rings of material, none which align with any of the orbits of the system’s three stars. Furthermore, the innermost ring doesn’t even align with the other rings, and it strangely tilts and wobbles as it orbits. And finally, there’s a big gap carved in the disk, which indicates that most the material there has been cleared out. 

The supposed planet or planets would orbit the system about 100 astronomical units (AU) from the center (1 AU is the average Earth-Sun distance). The stars themselves are much closer together. Spirit of French Revolution Grips Planet in Post 1844 Homestretch

"In the books both of Daniel and the Revelation distinct reference is made to that abnormal national experience known as "The French Revolution." (See Daniel 11:36-39; Revelation 11:7-10).

 

The time when the principles of irreligion and infidelity were given full opportunity to bud and blossom and bear fruit, that all the world might judge of their nature; when men were left to show to what deeds of darkness the carnal heart would lead, unrestrained by any principles of righteousness and truth, was most appropriately noted in prophecy.

same pen of inspiration, are such as to show that the masses will then fall, to a large extent, if not wholly, under the same principles of evil. While such is the representation of prophecy, it is a serious question in many minds whether the preliminary stages of this condition of things are not already appearing before our eyes, and if we may not now be on the threshold of one of those eras wherein "history repeats itself " in its worst forms.

As a system of pretended communication with the dead, Spiritualism is as old, at least, as the Mosaic dispensation, for it was strictly forbidden in his day; and it has at favorable epochs manifested itself among men; but its wonder-working phase is peculiar to modern times, and first manifested itself in this country, according to the prophecy of Revelation 13. 

 

2. Infidelity. -- ...., says: "Never let it be forgotten that before the Revolution of 1792, the promoters of infidelity in France are stated to have raised among themselves, and spent, a sum equal to

£900,000 in one year, -- nay, again and again. -- in purchasing, printing, and dispersing books to corrupt the minds of the people and prepare them for desperate measures." 

....says: "The way for such a revolution was prepared by the writings of Voltaire, Mirabeau, Diderot, Helvetius, D'Alembert, Condorcet, Rousseau, and others of the same stamp, in which they endeavored to disseminate principles subversive both of natural and revealed religion. Revelation was not only impugned, but entirely set aside. The Deity was banished from the universe, and an imaginary phantom, under the name of the Goddess of Reason, substituted in his place. The carved work of all religious belief and moral practice was boldly cut down by Carnot and Robespierre and their atheistical associates. Nature was investigated by pretended philosophers, only with the view to darken the mind, and prevent mankind from considering anything as real but what the hand could grasp or the corporeal eye perceive."

 

3. Socialism. -- Webster makes this word synonymous with "communism," which he defines as follows: "The reorganizing of society, or the doctrine that it should be reorganized, by regulating property, industry, and the sources of livelihood, and also the domestic relations and social morals of mankind; socialism, especially the doctrine of a community of property, or the negation of individual rights in property." 

These principles were carried into practice in France, and as the result the Revolution blossomed into all its horrid reality. The relations of the different classes of society were completely changed. The monarchy was overthrown,

and an infidel republic established on its ruins. The king and queen were beheaded.

It was a conflict between the rich and the poor, between capital and labor. The motto of the Revolution was, "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" -- blessed words, but, with the strangest inconsistency, wholly outraged and misapplied. 

The same principles are treated in the same way to-day, and are shouted as the watchword among the discontented masses and the labor organizations the world over. The principles of socialism, or communism, were probably never so widely diffused as at the present time. 

 

4. Free Love. -- When the existence of the true God was denied, as it was during the French Revolution, and in his place men set up a lewd woman as the Goddess of Reason, and the object of their highest adoration, it was a natural consequence that the sacredness of the marriage relation should be wholly discarded. Marriage was therefore declared a civil contract, binding only duringthe pleasure of the contracting parties. Divorce became general, and the corruption of manners reached a height never before known in France. One half of the whole number of births in Paris was illegitimate. Free-loveism is an integral part of the spiritualistic movement of our day, not so openly advocated as formerly, but none the less cherished and practiced as a part of the boasted "freedom" to which the human race is attaining. 

 

 5. The Commune. -- This word is derived from a small territorial district in France governed by an officer called a mayor. It has come to have a much more extensive application at the present time; but the origin of the word is not so important as the principles which it is taken to represent. Of these we have already had a definition from Webster, and seen a practical illustration in the French Revolution. gives the whole number of persons guillotined during the reign of

terror as 1,022,351, besides massacres of other kinds in other places, in some of which the population of whole towns perished.  says: "Such was the rapidity with which the work of destruction was carried on, that within the short space of ten years not less than three million human beings... are supposed to have perished in that country alone, chiefly through the influence of immoral principles, and the seductions of a false philosophy." 

In connection with this, as showing the tendency of the times, may be mentioned the "International," an association which, not long since, was prominent and created a good deal of apprehension. The object of its members was to overthrow those whom they esteemed their enemies, namely, kings and capitalists. Its platform was, briefly, the abolition of all class rule and privileges; political and social equality of both sexes; nationalization of land and instruments of production; reduction of hours of labor; education to be controlled by the state, and to be obligatory, gratuitous, and secular; religion to be ignored; a direct system of taxation based upon property, not upon industry; the abolition of all standing armies; and associative production instead of capitalist production. 

It will be seen at once that to put these principles into practice would be completely to change the present political and social relations of society. The different branches of this revolutionary body may now go by different names, as Nihilists in Russia, Communists in Germany, Anarchists and Monarchists in France, Fenians and Land-Leaguers in Ireland, the different labor organizations in this country, and Socialists everywhere. The principles involved are similar in all their divisions; the end sought, the same; and in the natural order of things, a great crisis in respect to these movements is inevitable.

 

The impress of the satanic hand is clearly seen in that the state of society sought for is exactly the opposite of that established by God in the garden of Eden. 

There God was supreme; Christ, by whom God made all things, was recognized and honored; God's law was the governing rule; a spirit of true worship, prompted by love, controlled man's mind; the marriage relation was sacred; and the Sabbath was honored as God's great memorial.

all restraint broken off from the carnal heart,

the rest-day abolished,

Without warning, NPR’s On the Media went from the usual condescension toward red state Americans to dreams of a superhuman Computer God.

“The idea is that we’ll possibly be able to upload our minds to some sort of computational substrate,” her guest hissed, “so that our minds will be able to exist there after we die.”

The episode featured Meghan O’Gieblyn, author of God, Human, Animal, Machine. Honestly, the book is a history of transhumanist ideas...She casually went over brain implants, digital immortality, and sincere speculation that the Internet is becoming a self-aware global brain. Gladstone seemed unconcerned. The two women’s only worry was that advanced artificial intelligence won’t be sufficiently liberal.

After describing her successive conversions from fundamentalist Calvinism to Kurzweilian transhumanism to her current headspace in agnostic philosophy, O’Gieblyn ended the interview with a shrug:

“I think it’s interesting we for centuries have hypothesized this form of higher intelligence that we call ‘God,’ and now we’re building a form of intelligence that it’s possible will surpass us at some point in the near future. There’s a reason why these theological metaphors are emerging at the moment that they are.”

No mention of the totalizing schemes articulated at the World Economic Forum by Klaus Schwab, Parag Khanna, or Kai-Fu Lee. Basically, Gladstone and O’Gieblyn ignored Big Tech’s role in spreading this global techno-religion altogether.

So far as I can tell, NPR’s sole purpose is to lull smug liberals to sleep, where they dream of being rebellious intellectuals....

If that AI system was used to determine job placement, steer criminal investigations, or justify demographic engineering, half the country would be sent to gulags to sew rainbow flags for the rest.

SDA Issues- Uriah Smith Easily Debunks 2520 Nonsense

"Almost every scheme of the "Plan of the Ages," "Age-to-come," etc., makes use of a supposed prophetic period called the "Seven Times;" and the attempt is made to figure out a remarkable fulfillment by events in Jewish and Gentile history. All such speculators might as well spare their pains; for there is no such prophetic period in the Bible.

The term is taken from Leviticus 26, where the Lord denounces

judgments against the Jews, if they shall forsake him. After mentioning a long list of calamities down to verse 17, the Lord says: "And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins." (Verse 18) Verses 19 and 20 enumerate the additional judgments, then it is added in verse 21: "And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins." More judgments are enumerated, and then in verses 23 and 24 the threatening is repeated: "And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins." In verse 28 it is repeated again.

Thus the expression occurs four times, and each succeeding mention brings to view severer punishments, because the preceding ones were not heeded. Now, if "seven times" denotes a prophetic period (2520 years), then we would have four of them, amounting in all to 10,080 years, which would be rather a long time to keep a nation under chastisement.

But we need borrow no trouble on this score; for the expression "seven times" does not denote a period of duration, but is simply an adverb expressing degree, and setting forth the severity of the judgments to be brought upon Israel.

---If it denoted a period of time, a noun and its adjective would be used, as in Daniel 4:16: "Let seven times pass over him." Here we have the noun (times) and adjective (seven); thus, (shibah iddan); but in the passages quoted above from Leviticus 26, the words seven times are simply the adverb (sheba), which means, "sevenfold." The Septuagint makes the same distinction, using in Daniel 4:16, etc., but in Leviticus simply the adverb.

Creation Moment 10/25/2021 - Io

"Jupiter’s moon, Io, is by far the most active volcanic body in our solar system. Io raises questions regarding what drives its intense volcanism. Scientists have endeavored to explain the heat radiated by Io and its interesting surface features. Theoretical models of Io have been developed that imply Io has been recycled by volcanism and tectonics over billions of years. However, it is possible to reinterpret the evidence from Io from a young age perspective.

The age of Io was addressed in my 2003 paper in Proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Creationism. That paper described tidal dissipation and the active volcanism in this moon of Jupiter. It was argued that an age of less than 10,000 years for Io was more plausible than an age of billions of years. Tidal dissipation is a well-known process generating heat in the interior of Io as it orbits Jupiter. 

The heat is generated from distortion of the shape of the body, more specifically from friction and movement of non-rigid material in the interior. Io radiates approximately 10¹⁴ watts of energy in infrared radiation. In the 2003 paper, I argued that tidal dissipation was not the only heat source in Io and that if Io is understood as only thousands of years old, some of the heat could still be primordial. This paper will update the subject of Io and its volcanism and argue that a young age is still plausible in the light of recent research.

In today’s models of Io, the moon must recycle itself. This means that Io must have been completely resurfaced many times in the history of the solar system, including a process of destroying and rebuilding the mountains. Keszthelyi et al. aptly summarize the magnitude of the problem. These comments were made not long after the end of the Galileo mission:

“If Io has been as volcanically active as it is today (erupting ~550 km³/yr. of lava (Blaney et al., 1995) for the past 4 billion years, it has produced a volume of lava equivalent to ~140 times the volume of Io. … The observed enstatite-rich, high-melting-temperature lavas should not exist on a highly differentiated Io. The only way such lavas could exist is to efficiently recycle the crust into the mantle.”

This figure of 140 times the volume of Io presents a problem for assuming Io is very old. In recycling a moon, likely the core would not participate since it is not feasible to ‘remix’ the core with mantle material. Galileo gravity measurements estimated that Io’s core accounted for about 14% of the mass of Io. Thus, leaving the core mass out of the recycling could increase the 140 figure above to 160 times the portion of Io participating in the recycling. Also, the quote above comments on high-melting-temperature lavas. One would expect that after many cycles of remixing into the mantle and volcanism driving material back to the surface, the higher-density minerals would stay in the lower mantle and the composition of the lavas reaching the surface should become more uniform over time. Yet the spectra and temperatures observed on the surface imply the lavas are of varied compositions.

This recycling of Io’s entire mass 140 times in over 4 billion years appears to be taken on faith by scientists today. The possibility of Io being only several thousand years old is not considered in the above comments. Yet, assuming a young age simplifies explaining Io. On evaluation, recycling the entire surface of Io would require a process to destroy and rebuild the mountains many times! 

A young-age view of Io eliminates the need to explain how a mass equivalent to most of the mass of Io could be recycled many times. In a young-age view, the volcanism could be essentially one way. There is some evidence suggesting large magma chambers under Io’s surface (such as Loki). Presumably, these do not remix into the mantle because they are not dense enough to sink. There is not a clear explanation of how the remixing into the mantle would take place. Only the assumption that the weight of the lavas would accomplish it........the implications of the models require a process that would recycle the volume of Io 140 times in over 4.5 billion years. All the mountains on Io would have to have been broken up and recycled into the mantle, then rebuilt repeatedly. There is evidence of some uplift of mountains along fault structures. The large volume of lavas likely creates stresses that cause some isostatic readjustment of the surface. But to infer from this that the entire moon has been recycled over and over is unreasonable. It is clear that the surface of Io is relatively young. Thus, the entire moon can be interpreted as young without contradicting known facts. Io is unique among moons in our solar system. It provides a useful laboratory for the study of tidal effects and orbit resonance. Io was apparently created to be a volcanic powerhouse which demonstrates God’s creativity." CMI

"The people of Sodom were not savages in the jungle; they were wealthy and sophisticated. Naturally, they only wanted to live among “elites” such as themselves. To prevent undesirables from spoiling their refined ecosystem, the people of Sodom legalized persecuting them. Giving charity to a poor person or shelter to a traveler were strictly prohibited. This was for the greater good, of course, to protect the wealth of the city.

The Talmud (Sanhedrin 109B) relates that a girl from Sodom took

pity on a poor person and smuggled him bread. The people of Sodom were dismayed that the poor person wasn’t dying of starvation. They conducted an investigation and caught the girl. For the horrible crime of feeding a hungry pauper they lathered her body with honey and placed her on the wall of the city, where she was stung and eaten by bees until she died.

It is no coincidence that the greatest evils are once again being perpetrated by those who are educated, intellectual, sophisticated, and genteel.
