The 2 primary colors that blanket the earth-Green & Brown, are soothing colors. The Creator coverd the earth with them with the foilage. Then He sprinkled in some various colored plants here & there for beauty.

Creation Moment 1/17/2013 - Decay Rates: 3 Problems

There are 3 problems for measuring decay rates (& therefore "dating: the age of something)

1) The rates of radioactive decay and half-lives may not have remained constant over time. Past conditions could have seriously influenced the decay rates.

2) The assumption that the "clock" was set at zero could be wrong.

3) The assumption that we are dealing with a closed sysytem could be wrong. What if there was a loss of either parent or daughter isotopes being studied.

The C.I. Scofield "OOPs..." that led to Error

It was the footnotes in the reference Bible of C.I. Scofield that made popular the false doctrine of the "secret rapture"/ dispensational premillenialism at the turn of the last century.
Below you can see where he clearly made a mistake in his interpretation which helped lead to this doctinal error within Christianity.

"In Revelation 4:1 a heavenly voice beckons to John: “Come up hither.” Supposedly, this is a reference to the rapture of the church.

In the footnote of his Reference Bible, C. I. Scofield commented on this passage: “This call seems clearly to indicate the fulfillment of 1 Thes. 4:14-17. The word ‘church’ does not again occur in the Revelation till all is fulfilled.”

So what? The word “church” does not occur in 2 Timothy, Titus, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, or Jude. But what would such omissions indicate about an alleged rapture? The mere absence of a word within a given context provides no evidence at all." ChristianCourier

All the fuss is over this verse.....
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:1
Sounds to me like this is spoken to John to "Come up hither" to see the things of the vision...and only John

Those who "Destroy" the earth?

What does this verse mean?

 ....and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Revelation 11:18

Some Christians try and use this verse to claim its talking about corporations & common people who "pollute" the planet.
Others go a step further and try to use it for their political agenda of the cause of supposed man made "global warming"...and they get blinded by their own political worldview.
The most liberal of Christians use it to go even a step further and try to find common ground with the secular left on the "climate change" agenda. Rather than spreading the Gospel-they open the door to new age attitudes to enter the Church.

But what about another view?  Global Warming alarmists have been apparently doing experiments with the weather and have had some success in influencing it. But what if their tampering with Mother Earth is what causes destruction on earth? What if THEY are the ones who trigger natural disasters to some degree? Much of this research is funded by world governments in the name of "climate change".

For instance, there is some speculation about the polar vortex, which they have tampered with, could collapse, which would trigger alot of cold weather for an extended period of time. "The polar vortex can be compared to a cylinder full of cold air. If you cut the cylinder in half and move one half away from the other, the cold air will sink. That is exactly how the stratosphere. If you have displaced parts of the stratosphere, the cold air that is held in the polar vortex will be released and flow down into lower latitudes. If the vortex is displaced enough, it may collapse altogether, leading to Super frigid temperatures over parts of the world." BIN The Polar Vortex is one of the things "Climate Change" scientists have been experiementing on.

I believe the Mark of the Beast will be implemented by the joining together politically in common cause the Christian Right (Protestants & Papal Rome) to appease an angry "Father God" over natural disasters. But how do they get those on the secular left to join in? By appeasing an angry "Mother Earth". They both gain something politically by setting aside a day of rest/or to let the planet rest.
Sort of a spiritual counterfiet Sabbath for one side to appease "Father God" and an enviromental "Sabbath" day of rest to lessen pollution to appease an angry "Mother Earth". If the many crises that break out in the end are natural disaster types-how else do you think the Christian Right could possibly reach out to the secular left ot go along?

"Secularists maintain that their doctrines are underrepresented in places where belief in young-world creation still has a foothold. The $185 million museum, named after the wealthy Perot family who underwrote much of the construction cost, is filled with a barrage of evolution-soaked displays.

All four of the main museum floors represented evolutionary time with at least one visual or interactive display.
As is often true with new museums, visitors to the Perot Museum are challenged to find anything but long-refuted arguments used to promote evolution. Among the debunked duds was a giant poster of the Laetoli footprints, complete with an artist's rendition of a completely fictional and strikingly naked ape-man family. The scientific reality about the prints found in in volcanic ash from Kenya is simply that people with fully human bare feet walked there during the post-Flood Ice Age.
One wall, called "Evolution's Attic," described useless human body parts that are supposed to be evolutionary leftovers. Visitors can read about how the uselessness of the appendix confirms evolution. But amazingly, the last sentence admitted that the human body does use the appendix, a small sac that retains a cache of useful gut bacteria. The usefulness of the appendix is a function of its design, and design requires a designer." ICR

"The sprawling structure is known as a large quasar group (LQG), in which quasars -- the nuclei of ancient galaxies, powered by supermassive black holes -- clump together.
The discovery in the deep Universe was made by a team led by Roger Clowes at the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute at Britain's University of Central Lancashire.
It would take a spaceship travelling at the speed of light four thousand million years to get from one end of the cluster to the other.

To give a sense of scale, our galaxy (the Milky Way) is separated from its nearest neighbour, the Andromeda galaxy, by two-and-a-half million light years.
"While it is difficult to fathom the scale of this LQG, we can say quite definitely it is the largest structure ever seen in the entire Universe," Clowes said in a press statement issued by Britain's Royal Astronomical Society (RAS).

Some recent evolutionary scientists have decided the Big Bang can't be defended-as quoted- "At the Bang, physics breaks down .You can't use any of the mathematics or any of the theories." PhysicalReviewD

They instead believe that maybe it was water cooling into ice. Another quote - "Think of the early universe being like a liquid, then as the universe cools it crystallizes."PhysicalReviewD
