--Rumors of Wars-- "Several state-linked Russian news outlets, including Komsomolskaya Pravda (KP), are warning of a nuclear
war with NATO. The reports claim that the West, including Britain and European countries, may provoke a large-scale war by the end of this decade. These reports feature Russian experts outlining what a confrontation could look like.
The articles state that NATO forces might be ready for combat by the end of the decade. Readers are told that this buildup is part of a strategy to provoke and divide Russia.

Days of the Dead and "Ghosts" vs. God

"Although many affirm that Samhain was the origin of modern-day Halloween, it is significant to note how many cultures throughout the world have celebrated a “day of the dead” (often with sacrifices), occurring at the end of summer and fall. There seem to be too many parallels to call these similar celebrations a coincidence.

For example, in the Americas, there is the Mexican Day of the Dead
(El Día de los Muertos) that goes back to the ancient festival of the dead celebrated by Aztecs and the more-ancient Olmecs

Brazilians also celebrate Finados (Day of the Dead). Bolivia has the Day of the Skulls (Día de los Natitas).

In Asia, there are similar festivals. For example, the Chinese celebrated the Ghost Festival, which was a day to pay homage to dead ancestors.
The Japanese celebrated something similar called O-bon or merely Bon
Even Vietnam has a variant of the Ghost Festival called Tet Trung Nguyen.
In Korea, there is Chuseok or Hankawi, in which deceased ancestors are ritualized.
In Nepal, there is the cow pilgrimage called Gia Jatra to honor the recently deceased.
In the Philippines, there is the Day of the Dead (Araw ng mga Patay), where tombs are cleaned and repainted.

Death is a terrible reality for all of us—not something to celebrate or treat as fun.
*Death is the punishment for sin.
Since all of us are sinners (Romans 3:23), we must realize that death is coming
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)."

Creation Moment 1/28/2024 -Robopteryx

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh:
Psalm 2:4

"South Korean evolutionists get the gong for this one.
They’re saying that dinosaurs evolved wings to shoo insects. They even built a robot to prove it: their invention “Robopteryx,” with a simplistic dinosaur head, raises wing-like arms with paddles for hands that come down in front of itself.
In a video demonstration, the wobbly arms scared a grasshopper they had placed on the ground to jump away. This must have been what pre-birds did with their forelimbs, the Darwin storytellers imagined. Evolution, having covered these arms with imaginary feathers, co-opted the insect-shooing arms into feather dusters. The pre-birds discovered other uses for the feather dusters, including wings. Powered flight was on its way, thanks to Darwin!"

Papal Notes - Will the North Bend the Knee soon?

......and all the world wondered after the beast. Revelation 13:3

"South Korean Archbishop Lazarus You Heung-sik arrived in the Vatican this weekend to assume his new post as prefect of the
Congregation for the Clergy and said that times have never been better for a papal visit to North Korea.

Asked whether he will act as liaison for a visit by Pope Francis to North Korea, the prelate said it would be his greatest honor, adding that there was no worse misfortune than brothers who have been separated for more than seven decades, the Korean Broadcast System (KBS)

reported Monday.... underscored the pope’s own stated desire to visit North Korea. “I want to visit North Korea, so get ready,” Pope Francis told him when they met in the Vatican last April." Breitbart
