The TWO go hand in hand as True Righteousness by Faith
*In Exodus 20:8-11 SANCTIFICATION/Obedience - (For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth,...But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,..) Physical Rest.
---Or--- as Paul says For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Hebrews 4:4
* In Deuteronomy 5:12-15 JUSTIFICATION/Grace - (And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.) Spiritual Rest.
---Or--- as Paul says For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Hebrews 4:10
SUMMARY: If one has true Repentance and is Justified, then one will become truly Sanctified willingly....the SABBATH is that Mark...and is what the Mark of the Beast is over--God's Sabbath vs. a Counterfeit Sabbath.
Sabbath is the Glue of God's Law....the Inverse Relationship of Justification & Sanctification
Literal Sabbath
For if Jesus had given them rest,
then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Spiritual Sabbath
For he that is entered into his rest,
he also hath ceased from his own works,
as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:8-10
Those who are truly Sanctified will obey God and physically keep the Sabbath
Those who are Justified through TRUE FAITH will spiritually rest in His Grace
