Misusing Galatians & Romans to Undermine Obedience: Same as Gen. 3:4

Paul's Servantude

The Nobility Forgot Col. 4:1

During the Hundred Years War there was the Wat Tyler Peasants Revolt of 1381 [England] (triggered primarily by new taxes and a
new law which limited what peasants could be paid - for example let's say a noble wanted to pay 4 pennies a day labor in his fields because of the labor shortage in the aftermath of the Black Plague, but the other nobility wanted to pay only 2 because of greed, by limiting it the peasants would be more available to the nobility who payed less -- if the other couldn't offer higher wages to get their work and thereby saving the nobility money at the expense of the peasants. Also a law was passed forcing peasants to landscape and work at the local church 2 days a week for free....).
Apparently the Nobility, while giving lip service to God, forgot Colossians 4:1.
 
During the Hundred Years War there was also the  Jacquerie
Peasants Revolt of 1358
[France]
(triggered primarily the French nobility actually assisting English mercenaries turned loose to raid the French peasants as well as landlords increasing rent of serfs after the Black Plague and on top of it all a law forcing peasants to rebuild the nobilities castles across northern France).
Apparently the Nobility, while giving lip service to God, forgot Colossians 4:1.
 
Sidenote---the Jacquerie Revolt was much bloodier than the
English Revolt of Tyler. The one in France began with peasants killing a knight randomly in his house, then on to the next one where they raped the knights wife in front of him, killed her, then tortured him to death. Then unleashed on attacking castles and taking them apart.
Also Jacquerie was a name/slang used in public to the face of peasants by the nobility sneeringly which sort of meant in our street lingo to "white trash" or "hillbilly".

"When the quotation says that Adam delved, it is saying that he delved into the soil of the
earth he farmed; this illuminates the connection with the primary meaning of delve. In other words, it is another way to say that he tilled the soil, an old male-specific metaphor for general work in English.
When it says that Eve span, it is similarly referring to a female-specific metaphor for work; not so long ago, women were largely responsible for tailoring and mending the clothing of their household, and even today hobbies like crocheting and knitting are strongly associated with the feminine sex. Weaving cloth in those days would have required a distaff and a spindle; a spindle is a weighted object that spins as it releases cloth to the loom, which explains the use of the participle span.
.... gentlemen had less of a vague meaning than today, where it can be applied to just about anybody, rich or poor.
So in other words, the quotation can be crudely paraphrased thus:
Back when our righteous forefathers worked, who among them would have been better than the other, who would have observed any class distinctions?

First, the main point he was extrapolating from the text would be correct. In the eyes of God---all---both noble and peasant are equal in His eyes.
BUT---where he strayed in his sermon is where he went on to oppose private property (if God didn't believe in private property why would He have commandments against stealing and coveting?).
And then he strayed even further by calling for the death of basically the rich.....

Those 3 "Moments"

New Testament and that there are three different Greek words so translated, each used one time only in the Bible. Furthermore, each of these three “moments” is used in a context that is anticipatory of the future.
 
First of all, Satan tempted Jesus by flashing before His eyes a vision of the whole world, offering it to Him immediately without His having to endure the cross, if He would rule it for the devil. Here the Greek word for “moment” is stigme, meaning a “point,” like a period after a sentence. In an infinite “timeline,” it would be just a dot on the line, a “point” in time. 
Satan’s apparent dominion over this world, though it lasts six thousand years or so, is only a moment compared to eternity, and Jesus knew this was a poor bargain.
 
One day, in fact, He will return to reclaim the world from Satan. At that great day, “we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). 
In this passage, the unique word is atomos, meaning an indivisible particle. That is, in an “atom of time,” too instantaneous to measure, we shall be changed to be like Him in “his glorious body” (Philippians 3:21).
 
Right now, however, our bodies are weak and easily beset with pain and sickness. Nevertheless, we are assured that “our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). The word here is parautika, referring specifically to the present moment. What we must endure “here and now” is so brief compared to the eternity “then and there” that it is not even “worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18)." HMM

De Heretico Comburendo

"1401, Lollard priest William Sawtre was burned at Smithfield for heresy — the first known heresy execution in England.
----Sawtre, a humble parish vicar. When put to questioning by the
bishop in 1399, Sawtre initially recanted his unorthodox skepticism as to the transubstantiation of communion bread into Christ’s own literal body — a doctrinal mystery that would be a tougher and tougher sell to dissidents yet to come.
But upon moving from Lynn to London where he served at St. Osyth’s, Sawtre relapsed — and some stirring moved his soul to vindicate himself in the face of mortal peril.
Charged before Parliament, Sawtre now defended his heresies under close questioning by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Arundel. Arundel was even then pressuring this same Parliament for a statute, which he did indeed soon receive — one with the ominous title De Heretico Comburendo, at last elevating heresy to a death penalty offense and making the bishops themselves the decisive arbiters on the matter. It is overtly and all-but-explicitly aimed at the Lollards.
De Heretico Comburendo was passed only on March 10, but Sawtre was eight days’ dead by that point. 
Both the law and the execution were great victories for the Church. “The king and the archbishop hurried to burn their victim to show that they could send a heretic to the stake whenever they wished, without relying on statute” Leonard Williams Levy writes. “Parliament could neither give nor take the authority to burn a heretic. If the scepter supported the miter, canon law prevailed.”

Creation Moment 7/17/2022 - S2 Quandry for Long Age Cosmology

"Another star, dubbed S2, or S0-2, orbits the black hole in sixteen
years and is also problematic for mainstream theorists. Astronomers think it is a young, hot blue ‘main sequence’ star. 
But they acknowledge “[i]t is challenging to explain the presence of such a young star in close proximity to a supermassive black hole.”
By evolutionary reckoning, S2 had to have formed less than 10 million years ago. But the strong tidal forces near S2’s present location seem to preclude that it could have formed there.
 
Q: Could it have formed farther away and then migrated inward? 
A: Perhaps, but this process would require a very “efficient” migration process, yet “[c]urrent understanding of the distribution of stars [here], however, does not permit such efficient migration.”
