ARCHAEOLOGY: Pre-Flood "Swamp Thing" with fangs

And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. Genesis 8:3
This creature likely was left behind after the waters "abated".

"You might call it the "swamp thing." .... a large creature built

somewhat like a salamander but with frightful fangs prowled the swamps and lakes of what is now Namibia, ambushing prey as a top predator in a chilly ecosystem long before the dinosaurs. 

The creature, named Gaiasia jennyae, lived during the Permian Period and measured at least 8 feet long - and perhaps up to 13 feet, according to researchers who

announced the discovery of its fossilized remains. 

Its large, round, flat skull measured more than 2 feet long, and it had interlocking fangs at the front of its mouth. The fossils were unearthed in Namibia, a country in southwest Africa. 

Because of the gradual movement over time of the crustal plates that form Earth's outer layer - a process called plate tectonics - this place was even further south when Gaiasia lived, almost even with Antarctica's current northernmost point."

Germany opened talks with the Namibian government in 2015 on a “future-oriented reappraisal of German colonial rule.” It has signaled its readiness to make compensation payments.

 

German Gen. Lothar von Trotha, who was sent to what was then German South-West Africa to put down an uprising by the Hereros in 1904, instructed his troops to wipe out the entire tribe. The order also affected smaller tribes.

Historians say that about 65,000 Herero people were killed and at least 10,000 Nama people.

In 2004, then-Development Minister Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul traveled to Namibia and offered Germany´s first apology for the killings, which she said was “what today would be labeled as genocide.” Germany´s Foreign Ministry has described the killings as genocide in recent years." Breitbart
