IN the NEWS - Once Again......

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Luke 21:11

"A concerning new sub-strain of Ebola, believed to have jumped from fruit bats to humans, is
fueling a rapidly expanding outbreak across central Africa.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), authorities have recorded more than 200 deaths with an estimated 870 infections, prompting the World Health Organization to escalate its risk assessment from “high” to “very high.”
Since the WHO declared a public health emergency last Sunday, suspected cases have skyrocketed from 246 to around 750, while deaths rose sharply from 65 to 177. This marks the third-largest Ebola outbreak on record."

IN the NEWS - Under priestly garb drawing the hate of God

These six things doth the LORD hate.... hands that shed innocent blood....
Proverbs 6:16,17

"In a chilling new tactic, alleged Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels disguised themselves as church officials and choristers before launching a recent fatal attack on Mayi Moya village in Beni Territory, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The rebels killed three civilians and kidnapped eight.
The attackers reportedly began their Aug. 13 mission in Ngite village earlier in the morning, where they raided a church, stole clerical robes and choir garments, and posed as members of a religious delegation.
They came into our church and stole the robes of our priests and choir; they then put them on, posing as a delegation from another church. It was a devilish plan. To use the very symbols of worship to deceive and destroy is beyond evil. My heart breaks for those who trusted them, thinking they came in peace,” said one church official.
When the group arrived in Mayi Moya around 7:05 p.m., villagers welcomed them warmly, believing they were part of a church
mission or community visit. Some community members even followed them, unknowingly walking into captivity.

I thought initially that they genuinely were from a church. They greeted us with smiles and songs, and it looked so real. But when I went closer, I noticed guns hidden beneath the robes. That’s when my heart sank. I knew we had been tricked. I walked quietly back and then ran into the bush, praying God would protect me,” recalled survivor Jean-Philip Mboosa.
The militants abducted at least eight people, whose whereabouts remain unknown. They later infiltrated Kitsanga, a suburb of Mayi Moya, where they opened fire, killing three men. Shops and homes were looted, and a local boutique was burned.
This attack marks a dangerous escalation in the Bambuba-Kisiki groupment, where ADF activity has been rising again after several months of relative calm.
Yet amid the sorrow, voices of hope are rising. “They may have stolen our robes and shed our blood, but they cannot steal our faith. We will rebuild our lives, we will worship again, and our voices will not be silenced. God is with us, even in the valley of death,” said one local priest."

Papal Notes - DRC bends the knee

...and all the world wondered after the beast. Revelation 13:13

"Pope Francis has celebrated one of his biggest Masses, with around a million attendees in Democratic Republic of Congo's capital, estimates say.

Huge crowds started to gather in Kinshasa well before dawn, including scores of schoolgirls dressed
in white who danced along the Pope's route.

A public holiday was declared, so as many people as possible could attend.

.... the Pope met President Félix Tshisekedi and delivered a speech condemning historical exploitation of Africa's resources, which he described as "economic colonialism."

SDA News: Billboard Showdown in Africa

Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the
hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Revelation 18:2-5

"A historic event is taking place in Africa this month: Seventh-day
Adventism
versus Roman Catholicism, the Remnant Church versus the Beast of Revelation, and Ted Wilson versus Pope Francis. Both of these world leaders will be in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), just one week apart. Both will meet with the President of the DRC and the country’s administration staff. Both will be speaking to their respective churches as well as the general public.
Pope Francis is on a “Pilgrimage of Peace” to Africa. He plans to spend three days in the Democratic Republic of the Congo before heading to Sudan.
Seventh-day Adventist President Ted Wilson will also visit the
Democratic Republic of the Congo for three days, from February 10 to 12, 2023. These two visits by the heads of two major world religions are so close together that billboards advertising their visits have appeared, even side by side, all over Kinshasa, the capital city.
As a result, the same President Felix Tshisekedi, his administrators, and military officials who joined Pope Francis will also join Ted Wilson at the national palace.
I want you to pay attention to what the media is saying, which I believe the entire country is aware of: “This arrival of the world pastor of Adventists will come after the arrival of the Roman Pontiff Pope Francis for Catholic Christians.”
They are aware that Ted Wilson will be visiting the country following Pope Francis. They are aware of Ted Wilson’s identity and the church he represents." AdventMessenger
