IN the NEWS - Veneration of 1,700-year-old skull

"During an elaborate ceremony where the skull of Saint Agatha was placed back in a gold bust, the Vatican's secretary of state, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, bowed and kissed the relic as part of Christian tradition. This ritual is part of the Catholic rite of veneration.

The 1,700-year-old skull is believed to belong to Saint Agatha, a third-century martyr and patron saint of Catania, Sicily. According to Christian lore, she died in prison around 251 AD during Emperor Decius’s persecution of Christians.
After her death, she was honored as a martyr and became Catania's patron saint. Her relics were then taken to Constantinople centuries later, before they were returned to her place of birth in 1126. For this particular event, a prayer vigil was first held on Aug. 16, followed by the restoration of the skull.
Footage of the ceremony quickly surfaced on social media, shedding light on the ancient tradition followed in Catholicism. According to Catholics, the act shows respect to the saint rather than worshipping her remains, but has ignited debate around the veneration of relics.
Many non-Catholics said the ritual was "idolatry," meaning the worship of a physical object or image as a God."

False Prophecy of St. Malachy & 112 Popes

"The Prophecy of the Popes is a list of 112 cryptic Latin phrases attributed to Saint Malachy, a 12th-century Archbishop of Armagh, who supposedly had a vision of all future popes during a visit to Rome in 1139.

The prophecy was first published in 1595 by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion in his book Lignum Vitae, more than 400 years after Malachy’s death. There is no historical record of the prophecy existing during the intervening centuries, which casts serious doubt on its authenticity. 

***Pre-1590 Accuracy vs. Post-1590 Vagueness: The mottos for popes before 1590 align closely with historical facts, but those for popes after 1590 are often vague, ambiguous, or forced to fit events retrospectively.

"The rainy weather did not prevent Blanca Servín from dressing her 7-year-old son like a bird. They joined a procession honoring St. Francis Solanus, the patron saint of a town in Paraguay about 20 miles from the capital city of Asunción.

Like her child, dozens of Catholics in Emboscada wear elaborate feathered garments each July 24. Dressing up is a ritual aimed at fulfilling promises made to the Spanish friar, who was a missionary in South America during the 16th century and is believed to grant miracles.
“I couldn’t have children,” Servín said. “I underwent several treatments and when I finally got pregnant and my child was born, the doctors said he would barely live for a few days.”
She then prayed to St. Francis Solanus and made a promise many parishioners make: If you do this for me, I will honor you on your feast day for seven years.
“My son is almost 7, and I have kept my promise,” Servín said. “But we will keep coming.”

Participants dressing up in feather garments are known as “promisers.” As part of the rituals, they cover their faces, imitate birds and distort their voices when speaking.
St. Francis is remembered as a missionary who evangelized the Indigenous people through music. The first church in his honor was erected in the 1930s. As parishioners increased, a new building was built later.
López said that participants use up to 30 hens, guinea fowls and

geese to craft their costumes. “These garments represent what people used to wear in ancient times,” he added. “Gala suits were made with what nature provided: birds.”
Processions and dances honoring St. Francis start on July 22. The night before the feast day, a local family takes home a wooden figure depicting the friar in order to decorate it for the festivities.
On July 24, promisers and parishioners attend Mass at the St. Francis chapel, then lead a procession and end up dancing in front of the church.
According to historian Ana Barreto, the ancient context of the feast is as fascinating as the feast itself. It is celebrated in a territory that was disputed by two Indigenous people — the Guaraní and the Chacoan — before the Spaniards came in the 16th century.
“The Indigenous people sought to steal young women, take weapons and other valuable objects, and set the ranches on fire,” Barreto said.
Not all current participants in the St. Francis feast are aware of this, but their costumes and celebrations are a remembrance of this historic episode.

According to Barreto, the Guaraní name of the event, “Guaykurú Ñemondé,” translates as “dressing like a barbarian.” 

Thus Guaraní participants are dressing as their ancestral enemies.
The reason might be hidden in an ancient Guaraní rite. 

After battling the Chacoan, the Guaraní people kept their prisoners alive. They provided them with food and energizing drinks, and encouraged them to have sex with their women. Afterwards, they killed the prisoners and cooked them, serving them as a meal at a community banquet. “In this way, the enemy strengthened the Guaraní,” Barreto said." CRUX

But when we consider the hundreds of Protestant sects, with all their discordant theories, we cannot avoid the conclusion that they belong to the Babylon of the Apocalypse."

"A Roman Catholic Church in Indiana that sent communion wafers to a lab to be analyzed after red stains believed by some to be the blood of Christ miraculously appeared on them was disappointed to learn it was only bacteria.

Earlier this year, Roman Catholics at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Morris, IN, were in awe after some of their communion wafers began to “bleed.”
Because Catholics believe the consecrated bread is the literal, actual physical body of Jesus, it was supposed that this might be a Eucharistic miracle, prompting the Archdiocese of Indianapolis to send out the wafers to a lab for a formal inspection.
The results were not so miraculous; however, after a biochemical analysis revealed only “fungus and three different species of bacteria, all of which are commonly found on human hands,” according to a statement from the Archdiocese earlier this week."

"The bishops of that kingdom employed every means to gain men to Christ, availing themselves of their ceremonies, as well as of the stones of their temples to build their churches."

Gavazzi says:

"When Christianity was imposed by Constantine on his pagan subjects, paganism introduced itself into the church of Christ. Before, the choice of religion was free; but, after he had made some laws, especially one denying service in his army, save to Christians, the profession of Christianity became almost an obligation. Commands, magistracies, were obtainable only through the portals of this new faith; it was embraced by multitudes, but with what fervor or what motive? A mercenary motive and a worse than languid fervor. . . . A pagan flood flowing into the church carried with it its customs, practices, and idols. . . . The greater part of Constantine’s pagan subjects, while in appearance Christians, remained in substance pagans; especially worshiping in secret their idols. But the church did not prevent the sin. . . . Mocking the Altar of Incense

IN the NEWS - AI used as Excuse for Sunday Sacredness

And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. Daniel 7:20

"With 3.3 million followers, Aleteia is “one of the world’s leading Catholic online news sites” and is published in five different languages. In an article titled “Keeping the Sabbath in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” published on February 8, 2025, Aleteia asserted that Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ exhortation about the “Sabbath” will help in reclaiming our humanity and combating the threats posed by AI.

Aleteia published the following about AI and the Sabbath:
• “While AI can free up more of our time, it also tempts us to fill that time with more work. Sabbath rest offers a lens through which to examine this tension.”

• “The Sabbath is not just a break from labor; it’s a sacred pause that acknowledges our limitations and reorients us toward what truly matters: relationships, contemplation, and gratitude.”
• “AI, by contrast, operates without limits. It doesn’t tire, doesn’t need breaks, and can process data endlessly … But unlike AI, we are not limitless. We are bodies—fragile, finite, and gloriously dependent on rhythms of rest and renewal.”
• “In this context, the Sabbath becomes not just a religious observance but, we could say, even an act of resistance—a bold declaration that our value is not defined by productivity. Pope Francis, in Laudato Si’, speaks of the need to recover time to contemplate, to recognize, and to give thanks.”
• “Perhaps it’s for prayer. For play. For rest that nourishes both body and soul.”
• “In the end, keeping the Sabbath in the age of AI isn’t just about setting boundaries with technology. It’s about reclaiming our humanity—one heartbeat, one breath, one sacred pause at a time.”

There you have it—the way to avoid the threat that AI poses to humanity is to embrace the Sabbath rest found in Laudato Si’. In recent years, religious leaders of various denominations, including Roman Catholics, have increasingly expressed the importance of setting aside a “Sabbath” as a day for both physical rest and spiritual renewal.

In Laudato Si’, when Pope Francis speaks of a day of rest, he clearly refers to Sunday:

“On Sunday, our participation in the Eucharist has special importance. Sunday, like the Jewish Sabbath, is meant to be a day which heals our relationships with God, with ourselves, with others and with the world. Sunday is the day of the Resurrection, the “first day” of the new creation, whose first fruits are the Lord’s risen humanity, the pledge of the final transfiguration of all created reality.” (Laudato Si’ #237).

Rome has clearly emphasized the importance of Sunday in developing a closer relationship with God and community, and Protestant and Orthodox leaders have echoed similar sentiments. Together they urge governments and companies to respect the so-called sanctity of Sunday. 

This push aligns with what God’s prophetic word predicts will happen when churches come together to make Sunday the universal day of rest during the mark of the beast crisis."

God's "rites" vs. man made ordained "rites"

"The keeping of the seventh day of the week, as the Lord enjoins, is said to be a Judaistic regard for mere form; and whenever it is shown that nothing but immersion is baptism, they will say that to put so much stress upon mere form savors of superstition. 

We notice, however, that those who thus deprecate form in connection with Sabbath observance and baptism, are very zealous sticklers for Sunday observance, and for sprinkling in place of baptism. 

The natural conclusion is that they have no objection to forms, so long as those forms are of their own choosing. 

Not only is this conclusion just, but it may also be shown that those who thus insist that the form is of no consequence, are indeed most superstitious in their observance of certain forms that are not commanded, and that they regard a mere ceremony much as the heathen regards a charm or an amulet. 

That this is true of the entire Catholic world, needs no proof. 

---It is only necessary to remind the reader of the “relics” which is claimed are possessed of such wonderful healing and of the sign of the cross and the Ave Marias which alone are said to ward off all evil spirits. 

An instance of this superstitious trust in a mere form recently came to our notice in Oakland. A laborer was caught in the shaft of a mill, and was fatally injured. He was carried to the hospital in an unconscious condition, from which he never recovered. A priest was summoned, who administered the “sacrament” of extreme unction to the unconscious man, who died soon after. 

If that “sacrament” had not been administered, all Catholics would have entertained at least a doubt as to that man’s future; but having received it, the priest can assure them that he is sure of Heaven!"

"The Vatican has given the go-ahead for Catholics to continue visiting a southern Bosnian village where children reported seeing visions of the Virgin Mary.

The Vatican offered its approval for devotion in one of the most

contested aspects of Roman Catholic practice in recent years. The village of Međugorje was put on the map in 1981, after six children and teenagers claimed to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary..... new Vatican criteria that was put in place this year, ruled that the "spiritual fruits" stemming from the Međugorje experience more than justified allowing the people to organize pilgrimages there and permitting public acts of devotion.

Since the first reports of apparitions, Catholics have flocked to Međugorje to visit the place which has been held in high religious regard. Until now, the Vatican has not officially backed the pilgrimages to the area, and past diocesan bishops have voiced doubts about the validity of the claims. 

Some of the original witnesses from 1981, have claimed the visions have occurred regularly since then, even daily, and that Mary sends them messages."

"Chad Alec Ripperger is a Catholic priest and theologian from the Archdiocese of Denver in Colorado.....he discusses Mary’s role in spiritual warfare. 

He refers to her as the “nuclear bomb of heaven,” and whenever she appears, the demons are forced to leave. 

He also makes the following claim: “If her (Mary’s) eyes are upon you, your salvation is assured. Now think about what that means. It means if she turns her gaze from you, you’re toast.”
The church defends the immaculate conception of Mary, her ascension into heaven, her role as “Queen of Heaven,” and her intercessory work that they claim Mary does on behalf of sinners before God. 

These four doctrines make Mary another deity worthy of veneration. This is one of the central teachings of the Catholic faith.
These doctrines are deeply set against the clear teachings of scripture. Jesus is the only “mediator” between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5)."

• “I hope many people will participate in this campaign as a public witness to the centrality of the Eucharist,’ Bishop Robert Barron of Winona-Rochester in Minnesota and founder of Word on Fire Ministries, said in a press release.”
• “According to its website, ‘Word on Fire Catholic Ministries is a nonprofit global media apostolate that supports the work of Bishop Robert Barron and reaches millions of people to draw them into — or back to — the Catholic faith’.”
• “The bishop added, ‘And I think that basically, spiritual and moral vision is indispensable to a healthy political life. So I would encourage people to get back into that spiritual and moral space, which would then inform their political decision-making’.”

This demonstrates precisely what would happen in Bible prophecy, as the first beast of Revelation 13, Rome, will be attempting to expand its influence on a global scale with the help of the second beast, the USA. The Transition from Faith to Superstition

"A few years earlier Paul had written to the Thessalonian church of a falling away from the faith that was to come and that would result in the exaltation of the “man of sin.” This “mystery of iniquity” was already at work, he warned. (2 Thess. 2:3-7).

Most Protestant theologians through the centuries have regarded this as a prophecy of the growth of the Papacy, the great Roman Catholic power. 

In his general comments on this passage, Wesleyan theologian Adam Clarke states:
“The general run of Protestant writers understand the whole as

referring to the popes and Church of Rome, or the whole system of the papacy.”
“The mystery of iniquity was already working; the seeds of corruption were sown, but they were not grown up to maturity. . . . The foundations of popery were laid in the apostle's days.”

Protestant historians are generally agreed that the roots of Roman Catholicism can be found in the early Second Century, at the latest. The eminent church historian, Schaff declares:
“The first example of the exercise of a sort of papal authority is found towards the close of the first century in the letter of the Roman Bishop Clement to the bereaved and distracted church of Corinth.”—History of the Christian Church (8th ed., 1903), vol. 2, p. 157.

“He [Clement] speaks in a tone of authority to a sister church of apostolic foundation, and thus reveals the easy and as yet innocent beginning of the papacy.” Ibid., p. 646.

Paul died a martyr at Rome about AD. 68. Clement, bishop of Rome, was a disciple of Paul and died circa AD. 102. 

Schaff describes “the interval between Clement and Paul” as a “transition from the apostolic to the apocryphal, from faith to superstition.” - Ibid."

Arrogance of Priestcraft

"EVEN the scribes, with all their self-assumption, knew that it was blasphemy for man to assume to forgive sins against God.

But the Catholic priest goes beyond the scribes and assumes to himself the authority which God alone possesses.

This spirit of evil, however, is the great genius of the Papacy, which, as Paul foretold, has sought to exalt itself… 2 Thessalonians 2:4 ...above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Therefore this priest says: "Who can do this for him? The priest of

God. He can rescue the sinner from hell, and make him worthy to be received in the heavens; go, therefore, where you will, to heaven or through this earth, you will find only one created being who can forgive the sinner, and that being is the Catholic priest. 

Thus we see that the priest is raised beyond the brightest spirits which God has created or ever will create, and that to him are given powers, which have been denied to the Mother of God, and to the angels in heaven. Are we any longer, then, surprised to hear our Lord addressing those solemn words of warning to the Church at large: “Beware of touching my anointed ones, he who touches them touches the apple of my eye.” Is it any wonder that St. Francis of Assisi should have exclaimed, “If I met an angel and a priest at the same time, I would first bow my knee to the priest, and then to the angel.”

And the difference between the priest of Rome and the angel of God

would be that while the angel would rebuke such adulation (Revelation 22:8-9), the priest would encourage it and even command it. Priestcraft is as arrogant and proud in its claims now as ever in the days of Tetzel and his chest of money, in which the chinking of every golden coin signaled a soul released from purgatory."

"Pope Francis has recognized a miracle attributed to Blessed Carlo Acutis, clearing the way for him to become the first millennial saint of the Catholic Church.

Known affectionately as the “patron saint of the Internet,” Carlo was born on May 3, 1991, in London, England, grew up in Milan, and died on October 12, 2006, in Monza, Italy, succumbing to leukemia at the age of 15.

In 2020, Pope Francis traveled to Assisi for the beatification ceremony that set Carlo on the road to sainthood.
Catholic Church requires an authenticated miracle attributed to the intercession of a beatified individual in order to pass to canonization, at which point the Church recognizes the person as a saint.

On Thursday, Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Vatican’s Office for the Causes of Saints, met with Pope Francis, who approved the necessary miracle for the canonization of young Carlo.
A Costa Rican woman named Liliana traveled to Assisi in 2022 and prayed for her daughter Valeria at Blessed Carlo’s tomb.
Valeria had fallen off her bicycle in Florence, where she was attending university. The fall resulted in severe head trauma, which required craniotomy surgery and the removal of the right occipital bone to reduce pressure on her brain.

Doctors said the young woman had a very low chance of survival.
On July 8, the day Liliana made her pilgrimage to Carlo’s tomb in Assisi, the hospital informed her that Valeria had begun to breathe spontaneously. The following day, she began to move and regain her speech.
Ten days later, a CAT scan showed that Valeria’s hemorrhage had completely disappeared, and, the following month, Valeria was moved to rehabilitation therapy.
On September 2, Valeria and Liliana together made a pilgrimage to Assisi to thank Blessed Carlo for his intercession.
In his post-synodal apostolic exhortation Christus Vivit (Christ Is Alive), addressed to young people, Pope Francis held up Carlo Acutis as a model for how to use the Internet and communications media for good."

“Fraternity to heal the world” was the theme chosen by Pope Francis for this Eucharistic Congress. We know that there are many wounds in the world, we cannot deny them. The men and women of today suffer

from these wounds. Do we know how to look at our suffering brothers and sisters? Do we know how to listen to the voice of those who cry out from their wounds? Do we know how to heal these wounds? Are we ready to be “Eucharistic missionaries” of fraternity?

The foundation of Pope Francis’ universal fraternity is the Sunday Eucharist. Rome is emphasizing this in its evangelism.

Things are getting WEIRD again....the Vatican is talking about the NONSENSE of aliens and Baptizing them....but are we heading for some mystical occult-like Fatima moment to scare the planet or is this just 15 minutes of fame PR?

"For centuries, the Vatican has been carefully guarding their most precious secrets. In recent years, that has been especially true regarding what they know about UFOs, aliens and the mysteries of the universe. 

Q: So why have they chosen this exact moment in history to publicly talk about these things? 

The press conference at the Vatican on Thursday is the very first time that the Vatican has held a press conference about UFOs, aliens and “apparitions” since 1978.
It is being reported that the Vatican has decided to issue new guidelines “on aliens and how it will deal with potential encounters in the future”…
The Vatican has announced that it is set to hold a press conference on “supernatural phenomena” tomorrow, and it will touch on aliens and how it will deal with potential encounters in the future.
According to a notice on the Vatican’s website, it will kick of at noon tomorrow, and will feature three prominent Vatican members.
Being held to “present the new provisions of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith for discerning between apparitions and other supernatural phenomena,” it will be led by Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandex, Messenger Armando Matteo and Daniela Del Gaudio.
If the Vatican feels a need to issue guidelines about how to “deal with potential encounters in the future”, that seems to imply that they believe that there will be “potential encounters in the future”.
Q: What do they know that they aren’t telling us?
In comments that he made near the end of 2023, Pope Francis seemed to suggest that aliens could actually be baptized…
However, Pope Francis did touch on aliens at the end of last year, when he was talking about how early Christians discussed associating with “Jews and Gentiles” – which, for some reason, he compared to aliens.
He said: 

“That was unthinkable. If, for example, tomorrow an expedition of Martians came, and some of them came to us, here…Martians, right? Green, with that long nose and big ears, just like children paint them…And one says, ‘But I want to be baptized!’ What would happen?”

He didn’t answer his own question, but added: “It was never the ministry of the closed door, never,”
So he plans to have an “open door” for the aliens?
What most people don’t realize is that the Vatican has been on the cutting edge of the search for extraterrestrial life for a long time.

The Vatican Observatory in Rome is very well funded, and the Vatican also has a “research group” that uses the very high-powered equipment at the University of Arizona in Tucson…
Many people are surprised to learn that the Vatican even has an observatory. 

The history of the Vatican Observatory goes back two and a half centuries. During its history, there has been some turmoil and several moves to escape the light and other hindrances that large cities, such as Rome, pose to doing astronomy. Therefore, more than a half-century ago the Vatican Observatory established a research group at the Steward Observatory of the University of Arizona in Tucson, while the Vatican Observatory’s headquarters remained in Italy.
Needless to say, the Vatican isn’t going to tell us everything that they know right now.
But a couple of things have become quite clear.
Number one, the Vatican believes that extraterrestrial life exists.
Number two, the Vatican plans to develop a positive relationship with any “aliens” that do make contact with humanity.

Now, nine years later, Islamic leaders have released a counterpart to the Vatican document.”
• “The document was drafted by scholars and members of leading Islamic organizations, including the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the Islamic Foundation for Ecology and Environmental Sciences and Uskudar University in Istanbul.”
• “Christian leaders said the document struck a balance between the Islamic worldview and the Christian perspective, particularly that of the Catholic Church.”
• “In many ways, ‘Al-Mizan’ is the Islamic equivalent to ‘Laudato Si’,’ the encyclical of Pope Francis, and more recently, the ‘Laudate Deum,’ a follow-up document,” Catholic Archbishop Hubertus van Megen, the apostolic nuncio in Kenya and South Sudan, told those gathered for the announcement. ‘Al-Mizan,’ although building entirely on its own profound Islamic tradition, resonates in many ways the teachings of ‘Laudato Si’.”

Laudato Si’ is the foundation for the coming solidarity between Islam and Catholicism. 

Rome’s common ground philosophy, as defined in Laudato Si’, is

what binds even the Protestant world to her. 

As Rome’s power and influence grows around the world, she will soon be able to implement any political or economic strategy that furthers her goals and aspirations. 

Rome is positioning herself to be the main negotiator and mediator on social and political issues, above all others. This is exactly what the prophecy predicts.
