"The city of Crato, in northeastern Brazil, has just inaugurated the world’s largest statue dedicated to Mary. 

The astonishing monument towers 54 meters (177 feet) into the sky

—taller than Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro (98 feet). Standing at the height of a 15-story building, this colossal structure dominates the landscape and can be seen from miles away in every direction. This mega-monument is one of the tallest religious statues in the world. Its sheer size and towering presence are designed to inspire deep Marian devotion from the people and to establish this location as a major destination to venerate Mary.

What is happening in Brazil is precisely what King Nebuchadnezzar did on the plain of Dura. In Daniel 3, the Babylonian king erected an enormous golden image—90 feet tall—a tower designed to dominate the horizon and capture the loyalty, reverence, and obedience of the people. It was a monument to apostasy, demanding worship and allegiance under threat of death. By erecting this image that exalted human religious tradition above the authority of God, Nebuchadnezzar sought to define and unify the faith of the entire world under his command.

The Church upholds four major Marian doctrines: the Immaculate Conception, her bodily Assumption into heaven, her exaltation as the “Queen of Heaven,” and her intercessory role on behalf of sinners before God.

However, these doctrines stand in clear contradiction to the plain teachings of Scripture. The Bible affirms that Jesus Christ alone is the “one mediator between God and men” (1 Timothy 2:5). " AdventMessenger

"Whenever a priest is consecrated a bishop and later named a cardinal, he adopts an official coat of arms. Typically this coat of arms is carried over if he is elected pope, though he could choose to modify it.
Update. Since this article was first published, the Vatican Secretary of State has posted a first image of the coat of arms.
It is expected that Pope Leo XIV will adopt a similar coat of arms to what he possessed when he was a cardinal.
One of the main features of his coat of arms is the emblem of the

Augustinian Order, the religious order that he is a member of.
On his coat of arms is a book, upon which is a heart pierced with an arrow.
The Midwest Augustinians provides a description of the symbolism of the heart:
"The flaming heart is the human heart. It symbolizes Augustine's love of God and his fellow brothers and sisters. The Augustinian heart is passionately alive, with the desire to know God and experience divine love in our lives."

The other main image is the white fleur de lis (flour of the lily) on a blue background, a Marian image (though it can also refer to the Trinity).
The Pope's devotion to the Virgin Mary was evident from his first appearance, when he referred to the Madonna of Pompeii and asked the crowd to recite an Ave Maria with him."

This plan is in line with Pope Francis’ call to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Mary’s so-called apparition with prayer, unity Masses, and the installation of 100,000 idols of Mary across the United States.

The plan for Project Guadalupe 2031, obviously, is to lead millions more to convert to the worship of Mary in this generation. 

They are calling for more idol worship, communication with the dead, and Eucharistic Sunday masses here in the United States. In other words, Rome is still in the business of exalting human traditions above the commandments of God."

"The Vatican has given the go-ahead for Catholics to continue visiting a southern Bosnian village where children reported seeing visions of the Virgin Mary.

The Vatican offered its approval for devotion in one of the most

contested aspects of Roman Catholic practice in recent years. The village of Međugorje was put on the map in 1981, after six children and teenagers claimed to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary..... new Vatican criteria that was put in place this year, ruled that the "spiritual fruits" stemming from the Međugorje experience more than justified allowing the people to organize pilgrimages there and permitting public acts of devotion.

Since the first reports of apparitions, Catholics have flocked to Međugorje to visit the place which has been held in high religious regard. Until now, the Vatican has not officially backed the pilgrimages to the area, and past diocesan bishops have voiced doubts about the validity of the claims. 

Some of the original witnesses from 1981, have claimed the visions have occurred regularly since then, even daily, and that Mary sends them messages."

IN the NEWS - Mary CULT vs. 1 Timothy 2:5

"Chad Alec Ripperger is a Catholic priest and theologian from the Archdiocese of Denver in Colorado.....he discusses Mary’s role in spiritual warfare. 

He refers to her as the “nuclear bomb of heaven,” and whenever she appears, the demons are forced to leave. 

He also makes the following claim: “If her (Mary’s) eyes are upon you, your salvation is assured. Now think about what that means. It means if she turns her gaze from you, you’re toast.”
The church defends the immaculate conception of Mary, her ascension into heaven, her role as “Queen of Heaven,” and her intercessory work that they claim Mary does on behalf of sinners before God. 

These four doctrines make Mary another deity worthy of veneration. This is one of the central teachings of the Catholic faith.

Papal Notes - Francis, Lady Madonna & Islam

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.... Exodus 20:3

"Pope Francis paid a visit to detainees at Verona’s Montorio Prison, and upon bestowing an icon of the Madonna and Child upon the apparently multi-faith jail, he stated to applause that “the figure of Mary is a figure common to both Christianity and Islam. She is a

common figure; she unites us all.”

If this seems innocuous, it also falls in line with the Vatican’s many attempts to convince Catholics that Islam is somehow a “sister faith,” when, in fact, Islam appropriates the names and sacred auras of Biblical figures, but then recasts them with completely different, anti-Biblical attributes.

In early 2021, for example, the Marian academy in Rome launched a 10-week webinar series titled “Mary, a model for faith and life for Christianity and Islam” in collaboration with the Grand Mosque of Rome and the Islamic Cultural Center of Italy.

Based on his belief that Mary is “a Jewish, Christian and Muslim woman,” Catholic priest, Fr. Gian Matteo Roggio, organizer of the Muslim-Catholic initiative, said he hoped to use “Our Lady” as a model of “open borders” between religious and multicultural worlds." Lifesite

TONANTZIN: Baptized Paganism

"Catholicism in Mexico features the “Virgin of Guadalupe” who is a

thinly disguised goddess Tonantzin, long worshiped by the native Aztec/Mexica before the arrival of Cortez and his conquistadors. 

 

"TONANTZIN", in the "Náhuatl" language, means our mother, and it is the name we give to the loving archetype of Mother Earth.

According to tradition, the Virgin appeared to a Nahua man named

Juan Diego in December 1531 on Tepeyac Hill, north of Mexico City, where there was a shrine dedicated to the female Aztec earth deity Tonantzin. 

 

To this day, in Nahuatl-speaking communities (in other communities as well), the Virgin continues to be called “Tonantzin” and her appearance is commemorated on December 12 each year.

 

It is not known precisely how the pre-Hispanic deity Tonantzin

became connected to the Christian Virgin of Guadalupe, however, we can assume that many people of the time believed that her appearance represented a return of the Aztec mother deity. There are many myths surrounding the Virgin of Guadalupe but she has been recognized by the Catholic church as a manifestation of the Virgin Mary. 

 

In conclusion, in the minds of many people living within and outside of Mexico, the Virgin of Guadalupe and the ancient Tonantzin are one and the same."

Papal Notes - Spiritualism for Mother's Day

"On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023, Pope Francis urged people to join him in entrusting all mothers to the protection of the Virgin Mary. This was a religious act of consecration and dedication that basically involved handing over our mothers, both the living and the dead, to the Virgin Mary and entrusting them to her care.

 

God’s word pronounces a curse upon anyone who would dare talk to the dead. Pope Francis is urging everyone to communicate with the Mary, even though the Bible says:

“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” Ecclesiastes 9:5.

People think that they are communicating with the spirits of their loved ones when trying to contact the dead, but they are actually communicating with the spirits of devils:

“And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:19, 20.

“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes

his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, a soothsayer, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who consults the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God is going to drive them out before you.” Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NASB version).

"Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday,
the feast of the Annunciation.

The Act of Consecration will be prayed during the "24 Hours for the Lord" Lenten penitential service in St. Peter’s Basilica. The service will begin at 5 PM Rome time, which is noon Eastern Standard Time.

The Pope will pray the Act of Consecration around 1:30 PM EST, and has asked all bishops and priests to join him spiritually in this prayer....Francis asked all Catholics to assemble in their parishes on Friday to pray the act of consecration of the world, particularly Russia and

Ukraine, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary....“I ask you to join in this act by inviting the priests, religious and faithful to assemble in their churches and places of prayer on March 25, so that God’s Holy People may raise a heartfelt and choral plea to Mary our Mother,” Francis said in a letter sent to all the world’s bishops." Statues of the Virgin…used to be paraded around the fields to ensure a good harvest. The moon and stars, symbols of Diana, Greco-Roman goddess of hunting were later associated with the Virgin, and Mary is frequently referred to as Stella Maria—Star of the Sea. 

 

Festivals, too, were assimilated [from paganism] into the new faith: the Festival of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin on 2 February was originally a Roman Festival of purification. 

 

And Christians often took over the pagan shrines of the ancient

"Pope Francis called on all Catholic bishops and priests across the

globe to join him on March 25, 2022, in dedicating Russia and Ukraine to the Virgin Mary. This will be a religious act of consecration. This basically involves handing over these nations to the Virgin Mary and entrusting them to her care. In essence, Russia and Ukraine would no longer be the property of the people, but of Mary, the Queen of Heaven, as they refer to her. Pope Francis is also inviting government and federal officials to join him in this universal act of love and dedication to Mary:

“The Holy Father intends to invite each Bishop or equivalent in law, together with his priests, to join in this act of consecration, if possible, at an hour corresponding to 5pm Rome time … The same information will be shared with the federal authorities in Washington, D.C. and with the Diplomatic Corps of this capital. An invitation is being extended to the members of the same Corps to attend a Mass offered by Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 12 noon on Friday, March 25th next.” 

We are witnessing church and state working together to solve the

problems of the world through Catholic theology during a religious ceremony that involves invocations to the Virgin Mary, pleading with her to accept their consecration service. SDA Issues - Fayard's Spiritual Quagmire

I have become stuck in a deep quagmire, and there is no firm footing.  Psalm 68:3 CPDV

"Dr. Carlos Fayard is an associate professor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  He is also “Assistant Director of Mental Health Affairs in the Health Ministries Department of the World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.” Surprisingly, he is also a “consultant” for the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino, California and uses his expertise in the service of Rome. 

What exactly has he done for Roman Catholics? In his book “Christian Principles for the Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy,” Dr. Carlos Fayard relates the story about one of his patients who was a sexually active homosexual priest. On page 3 of his book, Dr Fayard explains that this gay priest named “Joe” contracted HIV due to his frequent homosexual relationships that had “escalated to anonymous” encounters with other men in public spaces.”

But Dr. Carlos Fayard not only helps gay Catholic Priests with their sex addictions, he also helps them reconnect with the Virgin Mary using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Notice what pages 72 and 73 say in Dr. Fayard’s book:

“What I was theologically blind to was that Joe could imagine spiritual beings congruent with his own theological tradition. He pictured close to him the saint after whom his mother had named him, and also, out of the corner of the eye of his imagination, he saw the Virgin Mary. This sight shifted his emotional experience back to a sense of guilt and shame. I gently inquired what was happening, and he could hardly speak, as he was gasping for air. I redirected his attention to those that surrounded him, eliciting a different reaction. After he was able to again experience

God’s forgiveness and acceptance, I asked him to open his eyes and elaborate on what had happened. Joe told me he felt that God had forgiven him and accepted him, but that he could not “face the Blessed Mother,” not because he felt she would have a punitive attitude, but because he had disappointed her in a major way.Joe knew of my spiritual commitments and understood my limitations in being able to fully grasp the implications of what he had said, and so he proceeded to educate me. I accepted what Joe told me as his psychological reality. In that sense, I became a narrativist for a while, as his theological understanding and mine were very different, and so I went back to using CBT principles to challenge the assumptions that prevented him from engaging in specific prayer activities involving Mary. Eventually, he was able to do so, and he could then feel the benefits from restoring yet another relationship.”

A member of the General Conference Health Ministries and associate professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine is helping to “restore” the “relationships” between gay priests and the Virgin Mary.  

Rome must be very happy when its sex addicted priests can learn to pray again to the Virgin Mary, all thanks to our leaders.

But to make matters worse, this is the same Dr. Carlos Fayard who writes for the Adventist Review telling the world church that anti-vaxxers are simple-minded because they are not using their brain properly. In an article published on April 24, 2021 by the Adventist Review titled “The Psychology of Vaccine Hesitation,” Dr. Fayard states that those who refuse to take the Covid-19 vaccine are not using the part of their brain that processes “rational information.

 

Adventist Review, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and the General Conference Health Ministries need to seriously consider the following questions about the use of the human brain (Now let’s get back to the topic of the Virgin Mary).

• What part of the human brain are we using when Seventh-day Adventists reconnect Catholics to the Virgin Mary?

• What part of the brain is making us forget Revelation 14:6-12, our true mission and message?

• What part of the brain causes this type of spiritual blindness?

• What part of the brain is causing many of our leaders to care more about influence, money, position and power than about saving souls?

• What part of the brain causes us to remain silent in a time of seditious apostasy?

• What part of the brain is causing outright rebellion and spiritual decay within the church today?

• What part of the brain, if any, are these men using?

We really do have a cognitive problem in Adventism. Instead of publishing “The Psychology of Vaccine Hesitancy”, Dr. Fayard should have published “The Psychology of Obedience Hesitancy?” And then he needs to follow with another article called “The Psychology of Apostasy Enablers?”

When will Dr. Fayard apply his Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reconnect our Seventh-day Adventist leaders with the Three Angels’ Message? That’s what he should be doing. 

Q: Or does he only reconnect gay Catholic priests with the Virgin Mary? ”

IN the NEWS - Rome Says Joe Biden and the Virgin Mary will help us

"The President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop José Horacio Gómez, has issued a statement on behalf of the Catholic hierarchy congratulating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for winning the 2020 Presidential Election. Archbishop José Horacio Gómez also stated that it is time for our nation to move forward and commit to the “common good” ... The statement read in part:

We recognize that Joseph R. Biden, Jr., has received enough votes to be elected the 46th President of the United States.

We congratulate Mr. Biden and acknowledge that he joins the late President John F. Kennedy as the second United States president to profess the Catholic faith. We also congratulate Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California, who becomes the first woman ever elected as vice president. We ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of this great nation, to intercede for us. Now is the time for our leaders to come together in a spirit of national unity and to commit themselves to dialogue and compromise for the common good.  

There you have it. .....Joe Biden and the Virgin Mary will help us get there. The USCCB used the words “common good”....

“She (Rome) is employing every device to extend her influence and increase her power in preparation for a fierce and determined conflict to regain control of the world, to re-establish persecution, and to undo all that Protestantism has done” (Great Controversy, p. 565)."

Mary & spirit of antichrist

"The homage, which the Catholic Church pays to the Virgin Mary, is one of the most pernicious phases of the spirit of antichrist.
.... but those who are familiar with the facts know that the honor and worship, which should be given to Christ alone, are by them given the Virgin Mary, and Christ is virtually ignored.

But this worship of the Virgin Mary, and of the saints and martyrs, which detracts from the honor due to Christ, springs solely from the doctrine of the natural immortality of man;
--for if they did not hold that human beings are by nature possessed of the immortality which actually belongs to God alone,
--they could not give to those human beings, after death, the worship which is due to God.

The reader will know, therefore, that every quotation made from “The Glories of Mary,” is the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. On page 19 we find the following: —

“If the assertion is true and incontrovertible, as I believe it to be, and as I shall prove in the fifth chapter of this book, that all graces are dispensed by the hand of Mary alone, and that all those who are saved, are saved solely by the hand of this divine mother, it may be said as a necessary consequence, that the salvation of all depends upon preaching Mary, and confidence in her intercession.”

Q: If this is not antichrist, can anyone tell what would be?

Q: When the Catholic Church teaches that “all those who are saved, are saved solely by the hand of this divine mother,” what room is left for Christ?"

Author of 30 books, de Mattei warned that "it was in Fátima [that the] the Blessed Virgin asked for private and public prayer and penance to ward off the punishments hanging over the world. The ban on Catholic faithful from publicly showing their devotion to Our Lady in her sanctuary brings the hour of these punishments closer, perhaps already begun with the Wuhan virus." Oh here we go.....Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.... 1 Timothy 4:1

Does Francis know what would happen to him under the Mosaic Law in the days of Moses for praying before images to the dead?....he would have been taken without the camp and executed.
So why does he do the veneration of images today?...because Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:11
