King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia is looking for a way to bring the world religions together as one as a way to supposedly foster peace. He made the remarks while in Vienna, Austria. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, Austrian Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor Michael Spindelegger and Spanish Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez Garcia-Herrera oversaw the signing of a contract between the three nations Thursday. They plan to open an inter-faith center in Vienna. The governing body will consist of 12 members including a Budhist, Hindu, both a Shiite & Sunni Muslim, Catholic, Orthodox and Anglican. The rest will rotate between different religions or denominations.
King Abdullah got the idea after meeting with the Pope in 2007.
Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Micah 3:5
