The Divine Character in Light of the Cross

What do we see when we study the Divine Character in light of the Cross?
1) Mercy - For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

2) Tenderness - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die,...? Ezekiel 33:11

3) Forgiveness - Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:24 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7

4) Equity for all - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: 1 John 3:1 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

5) Justice - For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 Peter 3:18 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:11
