Lactantius, Paganism & Flat Earth Errors

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. ------ Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. Acts 20:29,31
"The stated purpose of Lactantius’ writings was to present Christianity in a form that would be attractive to philosophical pagans.....this resulted in a uneasy amalgam of Christianity, Platonism, Stoicism and Pythagorianism." earlychurch.org.uk
Lactantius (250 A.D.-235A.D.) was the tutor of Crispus, son of Emperor Constantine. He was also an advisor of Chrisitanity to the emperor and helped bring paganism more fully into Christianity.
We was also the one who brought into the early Church the idea of "the flat error" which was the idea that the earth was flat. He heavily borrowed much for the idea from Greek pagan philosophers.
