A lesson about the Law from Paul

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21
Paul taught:
1) Repentance-  People had broke the Law of God by sinning
2) Faith in Christ- Christ is the one who redeems sinners from the penalty of the law
"The law is a  mirror, into which we may look and discern the defects of our characters. There is no power in the law to save or to pardon the trangressor. What, then, does it do? It brings the sinner to Christ." 1888 Sermons p.42 E.G.W.

The Poor & the 7th Year

But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard. Exodus 23:11

NO to Socialism but YES to Charity (Has to be from the Heart-NOT from the Government)

Many have urged with great enthusiasm that all men should have an equal share in the temporal blessings of God, but this was not the purpose of the Creator. The cares of this life and the greed for riches eclipse the the glory of the eternal world. For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. John 12:8  ...but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ephesians 4:28

The Least of These

"God never meant that the widespread misery in the world should exist. He never meant that one man should have an abundance of the luxeries of life, while the children of others should cry for bread. The Praise of Men

Buried with Him in Baptism

Into Sympathy with Christ

The 1st Evangelists

Death & Mortal Man

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:54
Notice that we-MORTALS-do NOT yet have immortality. Currently the DEAD are DEAD. Until the resurrection day.

Chambers of the Soul

Purpose for the Scriptures

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4

Numbers 10:33

And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey:
and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey,
to search out a resting place for them. Numbers 10:33

Christ spent 3 days in death, only to emerge to lead us and make a way for us to the resting place of the Promised Land someday. And before Him went tthe ark of the covenant (the Law, which was contained inside). Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17 And where will His ark (containing the Law) appear right before His return? And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. Revelation 11:19

Gay Marriage

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; Leviticus 18:22,27

One Flesh

Flattery, Pride & Arrogance

"We should shun everything that would encourage pride and self-sufficiency; therefore we should beware of giving or recieving flattery or praise. It is satan's work to flatter. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Proverbs 8:13

Silence in the Soul

JOSHUA-the etymology & symbolism of the name

The name "Joshua" is the Hebrew form of the Greek version of the name "Jesus".
So as Joshua led his people into the promised land, one can see the symbolism-  Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. Deuteronomy 1:38
2 elements of the name Joshua
1) The first element is , which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of , which is YHWH, the Name of the Lord.
2) The interesting word group that starts with the familiar Hebrew verb (yasha), meaning to be saved or delivered. The feminine noun (yeshua) means salvation. The masuline noun (yesha) means salvation...

And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go. Joshua 1:16

10th Plague

The 10th plague on Egypt struck at the heart of the sun-god Ra. The pharaohs were called the "Sons-of-Ra". This plague against the first born hit the heir to the throne. The son of pharaoh, the son of Ra.
And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. Exodus 11:14-16
Each day Ra was to rise in the morning as a boy-god named Khepri, then at mid-day he became a falcon headed man and at sunset he travels to death in the underworld as an old man named Atum. Except the heir to the throne didn't rise the next day this time. The son of pharaoh was dead-and remains so to this day.

9th Plague

The 9th plague on Egypt was aimed right at the heart of the Egyptian sun god Ra.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:21-23

Lucifer Counterfeit-Sunday in place of God's Sabbath Day

Lucifer thought of himself as the son of the morning- How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! Isaiah 14:12.
He thought he should be like unto God Himself...I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isaiah 14:14.
But who is truly the star of the morning?-I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:16

Lucifer tries to counterfeit everything God does. Including a counterfeit to the Holy Sabbath Day by implementing Sunday in its place.

Fortune -tellers

And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers: Micah 5:12

Avoid Psychics

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God?  Isaiah 8:19

Don't worship or follow the Zodiac of Astrology

......And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. Deuteronomy 4:19

By Creation & Redemption

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. 1 Chronicles 29:14

The Want of the Soul

Revelation 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12

Everlating Gospel surrounding the Sanctuary

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6
Around the Sanctuary were the 12 tribes-3 on each side. One on each side was called the "cornerstone" tribe.On the east was Judah, west Ephraim, north Dan & south was Reuben.
What could this positioning possibly mean?

Christ is the Lion of Judah. The opening of the Sanctuary faced east.  Why? For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:27 He is the Lion of Judah roaring back for His people, RIGHT THROUGH HIS SANCTUARY, HIS PLAN OF REDEMPTION LAID OUT.

Ephraim is used extensivley throughout the Old Testament to represent Israel, his remnant.

To the north was Dan. Later Dan would would be a hotbed of spiritual apostasy. babylon was to the north also. Dan represents spiritual Babylon. As he roars back remember what he says-Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,....And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, Revelation 18:2,4

And Reuben would represent spiritual Egypt to the south, the secualr world. Reuben was the 1st born and the 1st born of Egypt died during the last plague on Egypt. They are the gentiles of today-  I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. Acts 13:47

So around the Sanctuary-to every nation, kindred, tongue & people. To the remnant in the west, patiently waiting, to those in the apostate churches of spiritual Babylon to the north, and the gentiles of the world in spiritual Egypt to the south.

Or as Hosea put it (Assyria to the north controlled BABYLON at the time when Hosea was writing)- They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west. They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD. Hosea 11:10,11

Or as Isaiah says it- In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance. Isaiah 19:24,25 In other words- having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6

Bought With A Price

Ye are bought with a price; 1 Corinthians 7:23

But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

The Woman Taken in Adultery & How it Relates to the Sanctuary

Christ gave us a lesson about the Sanctuary with the woman taken in adultery and thrown at His feet to stone.
And Jesus said unto her,
1) JUSTIFICATION (What we see in the outer court)
 Neither do I condemn thee:
2) SANCTIFICATION (What we see in the inner court)
 go, and sin no more. John 8:11

Field of Conflict

"The field of conflict is the domain of the heart. The battle which we have to fight--the greatest battle that was ever fought by man--is the surrender of self to the will of God, the yielding of the heart to the sovereignty of love. The old nature, born of blood and of the will of the flesh, cannot inherit the kingdom of God.The hereditary tendencies, the former habits, must be given up...". Creator

Flattering People for Profit

These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. Jude1:16 NKJV

His Spirit at every meeting

Clear the King's highway
