*He did not need to come to this earth and be tempted, to prove His own loyalty to the Father.
*He came to declare the Father’s name unto His brethren.
*He came to show that by the faithfulness of God all flesh can be saved. “In Him is no sin;” but He was made to be sin for us, in that He bore our sins. 2 Cor. 5:21.
The flesh that He took was our flesh;
the sins that He overcame were our sins;
and He did really overcome them.
*And He still bears our flesh,—an High Priest “touched with the feeling of our infirmities.”
