A Walk Through the 3 Sanctuary Courts

INTRO:

We have such an high priest, 

who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty 

in the heavens; 

A minister of the sanctuary, 

and of the true tabernacle, 

which the Lord pitched, and not man. 

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.... but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, 

but after this the judgment:

Hebrews 8:1,2/9:12,26,27

Enter the Outer Court 

[JUSTIFICATION/Grace, Forgiveness]:

And from Jesus Christ, and the first begotten of the dead...

Unto Him that loved us, 

and washed us from our sins in His own blood...

But He was wounded for our transgressions, 

He was bruised for our iniquities: 

the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; 

and with His stripes we are healed. 

For ye are bought with a price....

Enter the Inner Court 

[SANCTIFICATION/Obedience, Holiness]:

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, 

and to hearken than the fat of rams.

If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
For this is the love of God, 

that we keep His commandments: 

and His commandments are not grievous.

For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Enter the Most Holy Place

[GLORIFICATION/If one passes their Judgment]:

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; 

that every one may receive the things done in his body, 

according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: 

thousand thousands ministered unto Him, 

and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: 

the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
*If we confess our sins, 

He is faithful and just to

forgive us our sins, 

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

SUMMARY:

Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, 

being bound in affliction and iron; 

Because they rebelled against the words of God, 

and contemned the counsel of the most High: 

Therefore He brought down their heart with labor; 

they fell down, and there was none to help. 

Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, 

and He saved them out of their distresses.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, 

and brake their bands in sunder. 

Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, 

and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
