"Music has ever been and will ever be connected with God’s marvelous works.
Consider when this world was created....The morning stars sang
together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy. (Job 38:7)
And what about the Savior’s birth? ...the shepherds suddenly hear and see thousands of angels singing, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:14)
Consider the song of Moses inspired by the divine deliverance, the mighty deliverance at the Red Sea;
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying,
I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously:
the horse and His rider hath He thrown into the sea.
my Father’s God, and I will exalt Him. (Exodus 15:1, 2)

The Lord is my strength and song,
and He is become my salvation:
He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my Father’s God, and I will exalt Him. (Exodus 15:1, 2)
In Patriarchs and Prophets, 283, are these revealing words: “It was revealed to him [Moses] that Pharaoh would pursue them, but that God would be honored in their deliverance.” Let us never forget the promises of God as we near the end when we will be facing impossible situations.
And Moses said unto the people,
Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,
which He will show to you to day:
for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day,
ye shall see them again no more for ever.
The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (Exodus 14:13, 14). Immediately, God takes action."
