"It is a remarkable fact that all the heresies which have arisen in the Christian Church have had a decided tendency to dishonor God and to flatter man."
Charles Spurgeon
For those in Christendom whom embrace Evolution - it Dishonors God by placing the reasoning of man's analysis (and misinterpretation under the microscope and through the telescope) above the Clear, Plain teaching of God on the origins of mankind.
In so doing--man then exposes his idiocy by debasing himself,
while attempting to place himself on the pinnacle of intellectualism, (thereby Flattering himself of his genius) to that of an offspring of a Common Beast of the Field.
And God said,
---Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
---and let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26
