"On Tuesday, May 1, 2019, LLA Campus Ministries live-streamed a video from their May Week of Prayer on their Facebook Page. The speaker at this Week of Prayer meeting was Lynelle Bathan. She is a self-identified “queer person” who is attracted to girls.
Here are some of the highlights of and quotes from the session.
“We put our beliefs aside because relationships are far more important than making a point.
I’m still a part of the Church, no matter how many times the Church tries to fight me, or chooses to ignore me. I still love being a part of ministry. At the end of it all, I’m still fully queer, regardless of all the microaggressions and the Church ignoring me….It’s not a choice, but if it was I would still choose to be queer, because being queer is part of what makes me who I am.”
This is madnesss, mere emotional theology. Belief in the Word of God, is not about making points, but about being in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, “which leads us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts—that we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present culture” (Titus 2:12). A relationship that does not lead us to obey the Lord is a damaging relationship.
The LGBT wars are now happening inside the Adventist church with their demand for official recognition. It’s a matter of time before demands for the recognition of their lifestyle choices, marriage are also made.
Will the church of God stand true and pure in these end times?
